SmittyWerben's JournalI think there is video of the woman being shot in the Capitol.
The video flashed by on MSNBC showing a male with a helmet smashing the windows of one of the chamber doors. He smashes all the windows out, as the last window falls back toward the rioters the group moves back slightly, then you see a large colorful duffle bag being pushed through one of the windows. There is a shot, the bag falls back into the group and several people look down and the camera pans down and a woman with long brown curly hair is laying on the ground. The group starts to move her back and the video cuts away. Looks to me like the folks in that room thought a bomb was being pushed into the chamber and reacted to protect everyone in that room.
Edit: It appears that instead of a bag being pushed through the window, the woman was trying to climb through the window and was shot.

|Alabama and Abortion
Alabama just passed an amendment that
"make(s) it state policy to recognize and support the sanctity of unborn life and the rights of unborn children, including the right to life and to state that no provisions of the constitution provide a right to an abortion or require funding of abortions."
Kavanaugh makes this likely to withstand a Constitutional challenge (he lied about Roe being settled law). We are on our way back to the time when abortion was illegal and women were criminals.

Deep in the heart of Texas
My wife, an accountant, went to visit one of her clients (a feed mill) in a small central Texas town today and overheard two young guys who work at the mill talking about how they hope 45 is removed from office soon. Let that sink in: two young white males working at a small town Texas feed mill are hoping trump is impeached (and they did say impeached) soon. Maybe there is hope for a blue...ish wave in Texas after all!
This is, as you say, his sole motivation
for running for president. I told one of my repug siblings that all trump wanted to do was stand at the podium on inauguration day, look President Obama in the face and say "see, wasn't that hard".
