Question regarding SCOTUS

Are SCOTUS justices allowed to coach/help/direct lawyers or judges in lower courts?

If the SCOTUS judges are influencing judges or Trump’s lawyers by telling them what grievances to file, isn’t that a code of ethics violation?

What more on earth can we possibly do to counter what is going on? Other than voting, of course..
