Even if Bama beats Auburn decisively next Saturday, I'm not sure we make it into the Playoff without some pretty major chaos in the ranks. At this point, I think it's a slim-to-none proposition. Oh well, it's been a good run! I'm a HUGE BAMA FAN. But I know, that without TUA, we really are not one of the 4 best teams in the country.... Stranger things have happened, but I wouldn't put $$ on it.

Y'all have reminded me how much I used to enjoy watching classic movies! I haven't watched many movies at all these past few years...most of my "screen time" has been dominated by political forums, gardening forums, The Weather Channel, Maddow, and BAMA Football.

Ok, it seems pretty obvious to anyone who cares to look, that donald trump is easily the most corrupt president in our nation's history.

So, really, how deep does this shit go? It appears that the trump organization is one bigly, planet sized onion of obfuscation and corruption. Seemingly almost-never-ending layers of LLCs... LLCs wrapped in LLCs...wrapped in even more LLCs. Who goes to this sort of effort? Someone who has a lot of criminal shit to hide, that's who.
I imagine that it would take a large number of very good forensic accountants several years to unravel this huge smoke-and-mirrors operation...
Impeachment and removal from office should only be the 1st steps.
It is imperative that trump, his family, and their business organization(s), be prosecuted to the full extent of the Law, relieved of their "fortunes", and thrown in prison.
Anything less is unacceptable. These criminals have actively endangered the security of our nation and its people. My 2 oldest Sons are active duty Military. I worry every day that the Orange Idiot will do something that puts them in harm's way. And for what? Money? Ego? Blackmail?
That's my 2 cents, for now...

The regular supporters out in the redlands just love the bluff and bluster. You’re fired! You’re voted off the island! It’s sad, but that is what these people crave. It’s the confrontational, “in yo face” kind of behavior that these folks want and need...
His rabid supporters in the House and Senate tolerate him because he throws shade...his steady stream of verbal masturbation gives them cover to do their dirty work almost unmolested.
I’ve been beating this drum for several months now: The gopers in Congress will defend, promote, and protect Donnie RICO until he becomes a liability to their reelection prospects. When that happens, they’ll drop him like a hot rock….

Cool Looking Group
I'm a delivery driver for a big box home improvement store, so the weather is a big deal to me as I'm out and about delivering lumber, sheetrock, etc... I'm also a "Weather Underground" (TWC) junkie. I suspect a lot of that has to do with Alex Wilson...

Maybe it's just me, but...
I am very new here at DU, and am still feeling my way around, digging though threads, etc... So far, I confess to being somewhat disappointed.
I have, so far, seen very little actual "discussion" here at DU. Mostly what I see is members copying/pasting large sections of some news article into a "post", and then linking to the article at the bottom. The replies to these posts tend to be very short, knee-jerk reactions, seemingly intended to elicit similar "counter replies"; folks here seem to just enjoy "egging things on"....
Maybe I just haven't looked deeply enough yet; maybe there is some actual "discussion" going on here at DU. Maybe somewhere on here there is somebody who actually writes something (greater than two sentences) from their heart...an actual opinion...a point of view, maybe...
So far here at DU, I've only seen a bunch of folks who like to anonymously bitch, gripe, and groan about the news of the day. Is this a "news aggregation site", or a "discussion forum"? Maybe there's some thought provoking stuff here somewhere; I'll keep digging....
