Doesn't remember where the nuclear football is."

What Bezos spent on the Melania bribe film

would keep the Washington Post running for a year.

Destroying journalism is the point, not a result of financial decisions.

I have become an agnostic as far as a mythical or historical Jesus.

First let me state I am an atheist, and whether or not there was an itinerant preacher named Yeshua, who was the kernal for the Gospel's Jesus, I think the New Testament is 95% fantasy and almost ever story and quote is fictional.
But there is a debate for whether there was a man at all, or if Jesus is pure myth.
I have been reading some articles for both sides. And since there is scant evidence for a historical Jesus, and contemporary evidence is nonexistent, it comes down to a rational look at what we do know.
I find both sides have equally compelling arguments from both camps. And since this isn't about any of the Gospels being true, which is easily dismissed, it comes to how Christianity originated. Especially where Paul, and later Mark got there information from.
Still an interesting historical question which I find doesn't have a clear answer.

Edit:
Thanks for the thoughtful answers so far. I should also say i do not think Yeshua, if he existed, started Christianity. That was Paul, a thoroughly unlikable person.

They know they don't have a case against Don Lemon

He is more than able to defend himself and the case will be thrown out.
But that's not why they did this.
It sends a message to all reporters that if you cover the protests, you can get arrested. And the journalist from small News outlets don't have the same resources, and neither do some of the News organizations they work for.
It's intimidation that they can make your life Hell if you cross us.

If they did this to a local reporter in Minneapolis, it might get a mention somewhere in the News, but a national known name gets the attention they want.

Who else feels they could be Good or Pretti

Not because they are white, but because I could see protesting ICE and just ending up in this kind of situation. Trying to drive away, helping someone who is knocked down, standing still.

They don't need a reason, do they?

ICE, what we need

But may never get, is a thousand protesters facing down every ICE goon.

Robotaxis, why do they keep falling for Musk's snake oil?

electrek.co/2026/01/22/tesla-didnt-remove-the-robotaxi-safety-monitor-it-just-moved-them-to-a-trailing-car/

Earlier today, Elon Musk announced on X that Tesla had “just started Tesla Robotaxi drives in Austin with no safety monitor in the car.” Tesla’s stock immediately jumped over 4% on the news. Headlines across the financial press celebrated the milestone.

But wait, did they even question what was really happening?

There’s just one problem: it appears to be another game of smoke and mirrors. The Robotaxi cars spotted without “safety monitor” were all being followed by a trailing black Tesla supervising the “driverless” Robotaxi.

It means Tesla didn’t “remove the safety monitor”, it just moved them to a vehicle behind them.

So Elon announces a milestone that is just smoke and mirrors, and Wall Street applauds the slight of hand.

Remember, part of his big pay package is a million robotaxis by 2030.
