lkindr's JournalSeeking Unity in Diversity
Below the dotted line is my OP. I hope someone here is interested in discussing ways to unify the 99%.
---------
The 99% isn't represented by just some members of that segment of society, such as Occupy enthusiasts, but by all.
My vision is a venue in which ALL of the 99% can listen to each other respectfully and learn from each other in fun ways, with minimal strife.
I'm a member of Idealist.org and am on 3 Connectors' teams, but not yet active with them. I hope to become active soon. The mission of Idealist.org is to help all good causes to achieve their goals.
I want to promote FairPlay Conferences and invite a diversity of groups and organizations to send one or more members each to tell about their missions and efforts. Along with that, I want to invite the public to give 5 minute speeches, demonstrations, or performances of all kinds. The speeches could be entertaining or educational or both.
These would be weekly events, sometimes at the same place, day and time each week, sometimes at different places, days and times. For groups and organizations the events would be conferences and for the public they would be FairPlays, or educational variety shows. And for all they would be diversity.
Representing the 99%
I'm new to this forum. I started a thread at http://www.democraticunderground.com/12529690 titled Popular Diversity. It's about a vision for unifying the 99% constructively.

I'm willing to give a grant to anyone who can make free calls, like with Google Talk, to help organize such events.
OWS Reject
I was a member of the OWS forum, but it stopped recognizing my remembered password and I didn't remember it myself, so I was unable to log in. And I couldn't find a way to have them send me my password or reset it. And as I tried to reregister with a different name it wouldn't accept my passwords and wouldn't explain why not. What AGGRAVATION!
So I got fed up and looked for an alternative occupy-related forum, which led here.
