ms.pamela's JournalMaga at my County Office
Today was a rather busy day for me. First a doctor's appointment for a follow up appointment for a fall that had happened this Summer. My blood pressure was up which it usually isn't, I told my doctor it probably was due to the stress that I was having about the upcoming election. She told me to stop listening to the news on TV and only read about it instead. The doctor gave me a prescription to obtain a disabled parking placard for my vehicle. I decided to head down to the license department at the county court house as it was only a couple of miles from the doctor's office. People were paying their property tax as the last half of the taxes were due today, others were dropping off their ballots and one lady who looked to be in her late 80's or early 90's was voting for her first time according to her son who was accompanying her to register. The area I went to had the licensing department for various things and voting registration. I was getting my placards when in comes an angry man clad in olive green army pants and a t-shirt, he appeared to be in his fifties. He proceeded to scream at the poor clerk that the county had returned his ballot and were denying him the right to vote and were in voliation of the 26 admendment and on and on and on. He would not let the poor clerk get a word in edge wise. I felt very uncomfortable and thought well there goes my blood pressure. I quickly left as other clerks were moving in the poor clerk direction and yes, the clerk was a young lady, who I am sure that man loved intimidating. As I left one young man was still at the front desk and I told him that maybe they needed to call a sheriff from across the street. I live in a blue state, Washington, but our county once had a Christian socialist, (Nazi) headquarters just 3 miles from my house, thankfully it is no longer there but I am sure plenty of their members still reside here. I really didn't think crap like this would happen here in Kitsap County but it did and I am afriad more is to come in this state. Most my neighbors and friends are staying close to home now and for a few weeks until after the election. I beleive Harris will win but on the other side there are a bunch of sick losers and God knows what they will attempt to do. Thankfully, Washington state has mail in voting so at least most people won't be harrassed at the poles.
