I'm not talking about the next few days. I'm talking about the the future Ferguson.
How can this community ever have any healing if the guy that has been in charge of inciting the looting, gassing peaceful protestors, the media, stays in charge?
People don't just forget.
How can any black officer in the Ferguson wake up and PROUDLY serve under this guy's leadership???
How can anyone in the community feel safe dealing with the cops in Ferguson, by that I mean, knowing that if the officer does any wrong, you'll be CRUCIFIED personally to the point you will never get a fair shake??
How can anyone in the community, black or white, TRUST a police chief who says one thing the does another, releases information the way he has, and now know that under any circumstances he will defend his officers, over the rights of the people he was SWORN IN TO SERVE. I think they forget they are he to SERVE not dictate and prod.
WHEN ARE WE GOING TO SEE CALLS FOR THIS GUYS RESIGNATION!?!?!
Ooops 800 people are dead because we THINK Hamas may have killed those teenagers?

And I kid you not!!! Watching how quickly Israel escalated everything, no investigation, I said to my roommate "This is is fishy".
Usually if there is some sort of terror attack, the offending group will claim responsibility. This stank from the get when there was no claim, and when Israel was in Gaza like IMMEDIATELY.
Sorry but I'm suck to my stomach how we can have such destruction, such loss of life...

Why isn't there a Progressive Party? Or is there?
Sorry, I'm new here so take it easy on me!
But why isn't there a national Progressive Party? Or is there one? Looks to me that the Progressive movement is more localized and is sort of the sidekick platform of the Democrats? I'm fairly new to politics and I find my self agreeing more with what I'd consider Progressive principles.
Like for example I'm, I guess I was looking forward to Hillary running. Then I saw all the debating on here back and forth and people pointing out how she backs GMO's, how much money she has, how much she charges for speeches, how connected to Wall St. she is. So I started looking things up on the internet and realized she's not what I want to vote for at all. I think I rather vote for someone like Elizabeth Warren. I didn't even know who she was until I came here!
So joining here really opened my eyes to how complex politics really is. But it also showed me that there seems to be two different sides to the Democratic Party... a middle to left leaning group and a left to far left group and really from my short time here, neither group seems to mesh except for the fact that collectively we want to trounce the Republicants... so that got me thinking as to why there isn't national Progressive Party... or is there one?
