and nuclear war was inevitable within a week's time because Trump was threatening to release a "big event" (no, Musk, Jordan, Biggs, Graham and Thomas, not THAT kind of "snuff" party. So sorry to disappoint, assholes).
Me: a posh hotel in Paris with my husband and dog
I called Rep LUNAtic's DC office this a.m.
I got an aide, said I was calling from Scotland, that Id seen the Rep on TV and was wondering, now that 13 countries are involved in this whatever Rep Luna had called it, is it okay to call is a war? Long pause
How about WWIII?
Aide told me the Rep only takes calls from constituents. I said my husband is a vet, so as far as Im concerned, we are her constituents particularly since she supports this *whatever.* Six US vets have died so far in this whatever. Is she aware?
The aide started to fillibuster me, so I talked over her interruption, and she hung up on me.
While in a Scottish doctor's office yesterday...
the receptionist asked me how I was.
Fine, though I was watching the latest British news with some fascination. She gave me a crooked smile and said in a low voice, Yeah, but nothing ever comes of it.
I mentioned that most Americans would say they dont have a horse in the race regarding British royalty issues. But in this case, 3/4 of them are begging the Brits to P.L.E.A.S.E. H.E.L.P. U.S.
She completely understood.
I'm in the UK now. Windsor Castle is being searched
and Im told Andrew is not feeling suicidal. In fact, hes celebrating his birthday.
Big news day.
Scotland Yard to Trump: Break into THIS, you bloody bugger!
Brit friend told me the following, and Ive asked for clarification:
Also, something strange is going on with Gates. Hes cancelled his entire diary? Maybe hes next?
Bondi lacks the necessary decorum for the DoJ
I've traveled quite a bit and have lived in different countries. The first thing I learned about a country's culture was decorum.
In the field of medicine, for example, someone at the top of his profession in Germany is "Herr Professor Doctor So and So." In Scotland it's "Mr. So and So." In Japan it's "So and So Sensei" with a deep bow. Posters here can add to the list of other countries' "formal" decorum.
Congressman Jaime Raskin is a constitutional law professor and was a legal advisor for Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition before he worked his way up the political ladder into the House of Representatives.
In any country I can think of outside the US, Raskin's professional background is one that earns him respect, with a title of Representative, Professor, or Dr. Raskin. But according to the US DoJ Pam Bondi, Congressman Raskin is "a washed up loser lawyer, he's not even a lawyer." You cant buy a baguette in all of France without Bon jour, Monsieur et Madame, and Im having to pay for Bondis vulgar mouth?
Attorney General Bondis shockingly crude outbursts throughout the hearing are unacceptable most anywhere in the world. Other countries would consider her so pedestrian, she could win Olympic gold playing handball against the side of a curb. She is remarkably displaced in a public position that calls for dignity, respect and decorum, of which she has none. She reflects very badly on the US, as does Donald Trump, her mentor.
I look forward to the day when we get the disrespect--name calling, threats, screaming, interruptions, belittling and bullying --out of our culture, so we can reflect the traditional, if not universal, expectations of the role into which we're placed, as earned through hard work and merit.
What I saw from Bondi today was a miscarriage of her role in Justice. She couldn't even bring herself to address the female victims that she is sworn to protect. I can only assume she was hand-picked by Putin because she is turning the US into a feudal backwater, just as Vlad would wish.
This is not who we are. Indeed, nobody is unless its spawned from the Trump administration.
I just tried to call Gym Jordan's office in DC
This was after I had successfully called Raskin, Khanna, and Massies offices.
Im in the UK and let that be known. I gave kudos to each rep for their proactive response in investigating pedophilia ravaging our country and probably government.
Jordans office wouldnt allow a telephone response even though I had called during work hours. Ill send him a British postcard with my concerns:
1. Why didnt you ever respond to the Jan 6 subpoena sent to you by the bipartisan House committee?
2. You were so indifferent during the House Judiciary Committee hearing with Pam Bondi today inre a global pedophile ring. You didnt care one iota that the DoJ hadnt followed a judicial order to only redact victim information and not perpetrators. Would that have anything to do with your being accused of pedophilia against Sasha Riley? Do you think you should be heading this committee investigating pedophilia when youve been accused of it yourself?
PM Starmer still in office but power has been removed
after a 24hr meeting at Westminster
a stay of execution.
When I started my UK travels in early June, I found Europeans not to be particularly clued-in to anything of depth re Trump. They knew they didnt like him, but he was the USs problem. A month ago a Scottish woman swore that Putin did not have compromat on Trump, and definitely nothing to do with females. A British man at a bar explained his disdain for the left and its pronoun overuse, while I told him he had forest for trees myopia. Ive lived in the US. It seems to me your two sides just need to talk to each other.
Since then, the UK has been on the brink of WWIII and its PM on the verge of being sacked, its royal institution upended. Now Its rare to go anywhere without hearing Trumps name.
Ive marvelled at the transition. Weve gone from British humor about the Gulf name-change (In the US we refer to it as El Golfo del Gringo Loco) to the possible dismantling of the monarchy.
Its a fascinating time to be here.
Breaking: The Palace to cooperate with police re: Andrew
Now known as Mr. Mountbatten Windsor
King Charles needed to be strongly encouraged but will now address concerns rather than the usual say nothing, do nothing stance.
PM Starmer is meeting with the Labour Party now. Hes fighting for his political life. The room is absolutely packed.
Edit: Cabinet members express support for Starmer. (SkyNews

Paul Mandelson resigns/retires from House of Lords
Source: Sky News, UK
per Sky News. This results from the Epstein files.
Yesterday Parliament pilloried Mandelson, and Sky News showed a photo of Mandelson in his underwear with a female, from the files, all day long. So today Mandelson is all but out of politics. The Brits are concerned about trust in its democratic institutions as well as national security. Gordon Brown had requested an investigation into Mandelson months ago, so he's upset it took so long. There are calls to hold Mandelson accountable.
Meanwhile, fascist republican pedophiles still hold the reins of power in the US. Why is there no accountability for the rich in the US of A?? Seriously. WTF (which has becomes our country's motto under Trump)!!!
Edit: The UK media asked Mandelson why he had any association with Epstein to begin with considering he was in prison at the time. Mandelson could only say he regretted having met Epstein.
Media is now asking why Keir Starmer, PM, sent Mandelson to the US at all given his questionable past.
No link yet.
UK Lord Mandelson raked over the coals
nearly literally. Every parliamentary member wants Peter Mandelson and Andrew to testify in the US.
There was a photo in the files of Mandelson in his underwear with a woman. The location of the photo was IDd as belonging to Epstein. The photo of Andrew over a young woman on the floor is determined to be Epsteins NYC mansion.
Mandelson shared market sensitive info with Epstein as well.
Everyone in Parliament is professing the same level of disgust. I wish the fascist Right in the US would be similarly fed up. Where is the outrage, MAGA Mike?
