Took a beating in 1992

Sorry, fleur-de-lisa I had to give up discussing politics in NOLA. I moved from a blue state and upbringing thirty-two years ago and call it home with pride. However, the abuse was just too stressful to continue to discuss politics. My immediate family lost seven homes in Katrina and not all that big government assistance (thank you, everyone) could cast a shadow on the FOX influence. I have at least raised my children to respect others viewpoints and lifestyles. Since I am so new to DU I have not seen what you have experienced. Keep up the good fight fleur-de-lisa. I just may have to climb back into the ring. I found this site after the first debate this year. Wow, it has really helped! I was beginning to think I was all alone.
