Most of the people receiving loan forgiveness are people like teachers, nurses, firefighters and cops. They are having their loans forgiven after making 20 years of payments. Not everyone getting help with their loans are deadbeats.
Uncle:
Loan forgiveness is bullshit whoever they are. Why should a hard earning man or women be expected to pay off anybody’s loan that they took out and benefited from? They signed and took out the loan and promising to pay it back, the tax payers DID NOT. It’s their responsibility not the taxpayers to pay back the loan they are responsible for, period.
Me:
They are taking lower paying jobs that are a benefit to society. We need people in those jobs. If our society had its priorities straight then education even at the highest levels would be less expensive and even free for some who go into fields that don’t pay as much such at teachers or social workers. The depth of the selfishness of people on the right is truly incredible. We can fund the military to the tune of 800 billion dollars but get our panties in a twist if we forgive a teachers student loan after they paid into it 20 years. I’m proud to be a democrat and proud to be a liberal. I know who I fight for, everyday people. The other side makes sure the benefits of our society go to the top 1%. Trump doesn’t give a flying f**k about anyone but himself. If you can’t see that I’m truly sorry.
An Idea on Assault Weapons.
With the understanding that an assault weapons ban is preferable, I thought of an idea to possibly prevent the worst of the worst from obtaining these deadly weapons. What if buyers had to get five affidavits from people attesting to their good character. These affidavits are used in order to get jobs dealing with the public in various capacities why not use them in gun purchases? Five people would have to think about whether they would want this individual to have an assault weapon. It would at least slow the process down and possibly prevent a tragedy from occurring. What are your thoughts?
It sounds like Putin is putting in his orders for Christmas early.

The House needs to bring back a version of the house Un-American activities committee,HUAC. They need to drag all these Republicans in front of it and investigate their ties to Russia and other foreign actors to see if they have
Motivations other than hanging on to their positions to explain why they are selling our country out.
