Look at the bright side.

We may get to run against Donald Trump again in 2024.

If Democrats take advantage of the opportunity, they could wipe the criminal Republicans from power for a generation. It's just a matter of time until the truth exposes them all.

Trump cannot win. He is not going to increase his number of supporters. He is sour milk. He is a liar. He is a thief. He is a criminal. His bullshit has dried in the sun.

Trump is a problem for the Republicans, not the Democrats. Let them handle it. They have already done the damage they are going to do.

Wash your hands of the mess and move on.

Let the pro-democracy forces wipe out the anti-American criminals that have taken over the Republican Party.

They created the problem. Let them fix it.

We can plainly see that there are two systems of justice in this country.

There are no experts...

We are living in unprecedented times.

Do not hesitate to share your opinion.

The experts will let you know if you are wrong.

What does Trump do if he is given a subpoena by Jack Smith, the Special Counsel?

He has already stated that he will "not partake" of the Special Counsel.

And he is scheduled to give a speech tonight to rant about his victimhood and how he needs the Republicans to unite and stand behind his criminal activities. They are not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

If Trump is handed a subpoena, will he just blow it off?

Then what happens?

Simple question: Is it better for the country if Trump is indicted or if he is not indicted?

What happens if he is not charged? I despair to think.

What happens if he is charged?

I believe it will be much worse if he is not charged.

That is just my opinion.

"And I hope the Republicans have the courage to fight this."

So said Donald Trump after today's announcement of a Special Counsel.

This is his strategy.

But it is not the "Republicans fight". It is Donald Trump's fight. It is he that committed the crimes and continues to break the law every single day. He uses the Republicans for cover.
It is too bad that they are unable to see that. He will destroy their Party. Unfortunately, he may destroy the rest of the country also.

Republicans need to come to their senses. That is the bottom line. It is not their fight. They need to understand that.

Furthermore, he said, “I have been going through this for six years — for six years I have been going through this, and I am not going to go through it anymore..."

“It is not acceptable. It is so unfair. It is so political,” he said.

Until we can get the Republican leaders to open their eyes and put their country over politics and a Cult Leader, we are screwed.

And that's the way it is...

I am really trying to find something positive from this Special Counsel appointment.

Trump has successfully gotten a delay in his investigation.

Maybe that will cool off the "investigation fires" in the new Congress?

Maybe the Special Counsel will pick up where the DOJ has left off? Maybe it won't take a year or two to finish the investigation?

If the Special Counsel reports to AG Garland in 2 or 3 months that he believes there is enough evidence to charge Trump with crimes, how could Garland refuse to charge the former president?

With supreme patience, perhaps the Republicans will come around to understanding that this is the only way for them to rid themselves of Donald Trump and some of them may support the investigation? I doubt it, but it is a possibility, I suppose?

Will it remove politics from the investigation? What do you think?

If Elmer Rhodes is convicted of "seditious conspiracy"...?

...will it affect or influence the DOJ investigation of Donald Trump?

If there was a "conspiracy", how was Trump not involved? We all know that he was involved, but how could it be proven?

If there is a "seditious conspiracy" conviction, it would change the entire perspective of how people should view the attack on the Capitol. It was not a group of "tourists" ransacking our Capitol. There was a conspiracy to overthrow an election and to overthrow our elected government. There is no more serious crime.

How many seats did Democrats lose in NY and Florida because of "re-districting"?

From what I have read and heard, it was enough to give the Republicans control of the House. Those two states alone changed the leadership of the Congress.

What can the Democrats do about that before the next election?

With DeSanctimonious in charge in Florida, there probably isn't much that can be done?

With Hochul in charge in NY, they should never have allowed something like that to happen but is there anything they can do about it now?
