95% of all ballots cast were by paper ballot?

I heard some official on TV mention that stat.

Would that be good or bad?

It seems to me that a paper trail would be better than machine voting, in that there is a paper record.

Do they put a code on the ballots so they know what address they come from, in case there is a question about a race or a recount?

What is your opinion of paper ballots?

Would a pardon apply to crimes committed after the pardon?

Don Jr and Ivanka are not going to stop "criming".

None of the people that Trump will pardon will get religion and go straight. They will continue their criminal ways.

How would a pardon apply to new crimes?

2 hours and 25 minutes.

That is the reported amount of time that Bill Barr spent at the White House yesterday.

That is enough time to discuss numerous items on the agenda.

Of course, the meeting happened after Barr made the public statement that there was no evidence of any massive fraud in the past election. (Many Trump supporters were very pissed off with him after those comments)

It was probably a sop to Trump to say that he had appointed John Durham as a Special Counsel to continue the Russia investigation, including the Crossfire Hurricane. He would have known going in that Trump would not be very happy with him.

What could they have possibly discussed? One thing we know for sure, neither of them can be trusted.

If the Republicans insist on Durham continuing as a Special Counsel, the Democrats could meet them half-way on that. They could agree to a Special Counsel to continue investigating the Russian interference in our election, but it would not be Durham. It would be someone chosen by the new Attorney General.

By doing that, it would remove much of the political heat off Joe Biden and the Democrats, in my opinion. That is, if they wanted to continue investigating Trump's connections after he is gone?

Easy Money

A grifter is always looking for a way to make easy money.

No one should doubt that Donald Trump would try to make a bundle selling pardons in his last days in the White House. That is what grifters do.

But the truth be known, he has been grifting for the last 4 years. He has been making money off the presidency. Because he is as crooked as dog's hind leg. With Rudy by his side, they could incorporate and call themselves Grifters Anonymous.

Going on four years and it doesn't get any better.

My theory on the pardons revolves around Joseph di Genova.

The last we had heard from he and his wife, they were working for Firtash, the Russian oligarch, in Austria. Next time we see him, he is working on Trump's coup to over-throw the election.

It has been reported that Firtash was funded directly by Vladimir Putin. So, who would Putin be interested in getting a pardon for??

My guess that it would either be Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, or Paul Manafort.

In my opinion, di Genova was the probable relay man to get a pardon for someone very important to the Russians. That would include Paul Manafort.

The clock is moving quickly for Rudy and Donald.

December 8, 2020: The “Safe Harbor” Deadline The U.S. Code(3 U.S.C. §5)provides that if election results are contested in any state, and if the state, prior to election day,has enacted procedures to settle controversies or contests over electors and electoral votes, and if these procedures have been applied, and the results have been determined six days before the electors’ meetings, then these results are considered to be conclusive, and will apply in the counting of the electoral votes. This date, known as the “Safe Harbor” deadline, falls on December 8 in 2020. The governor of any state where there was a contest, and in which the contest was decided according to established state procedures, is required (3 U.S.C. §6) to send a certificate describing the form and manner by which the determination was made to the Archivist as soon as practicable.

It appears that the Governors, Secretarys of State, and State Legislatures have saved our democracy.

And many of them are Republicans.

Not since the days of Goebel has anyone seen a propagandist with the brazen gall of Rudy Guiliani.

He appeared before some of the Arizona State Legislature and was permitted to say all sorts of made-up crapola that he would not dare to say in court. Because he understands when he is under oath.

He told them that the Governor of Arizona would not meet with him. He was an envoy of Donald J Trump.

At almost the same time, Governor Ducey was signing the certification papers for the election in Arizona, declaring Mark Kelly the winner in the Senate race and Joe Biden the winner in the Presidential race. The law in Arizona required Martha McSally to step down on a specific day and the Governor had no choice but to follow the law.

Trump was watching the signing on TV and called the Governor. The Governor had the phone on "vibrate" and laid it aside. If the sound had been on, it would have played "Hail to the Chief", to let him know the call was from the White House. That seems to be the official explanation?

But, from a distance, it appears that there are a few Republicans that are willing to stand up for our country, our Constitution, and our Democracy. They are not part of the cabal of hypocrites in the Republican Party now occupying Washington, DC.

Let us hope that Donald Trump gets the message.

I would like to suggest a summit of Party leaders.

"Talk, talk, talk is better than war, war, war." To paraphrase Winston Churchill.

If our elected leaders are unable to talk with each other, then eventually they come to believe two totally different realities. That seems to be what is happening right now.

Although the votes have been legally verified, some by Republican Secretarys of State and Republican Governors, there are people that believe the lies and propaganda of the wanna-be dictator. It is a tragedy they are unable to see it.

That is why it is important that our Congress, House and Senate, come to some sort of agreement. In order to do that, they have to talk with each other.

Otherwise, they are of no use to our democracy. They may as well go home. They are a disgrace to our democracy.

They have nothing.

Except baloney and horseshit.

They are lying their asses off.

Throwing everything against the wall to see what might stick - the FBI and DOJ helped Victor Chavez steal votes for Biden and sent them to Spain to be counted. How many people are truly buying this crap? Do they not believe the Republican Governors and Secretarys of State that have verified the votes?

They have fallen prey to the "fake news". Tell me this is not 1984.

Overthrow the democratically elected candidates and put in a coup. Maybe the Supreme Court will agree with him?

And if they don't, they will only be part of the fraud conspiracy against Donald Trump.
