They would rather people forget about what happened in the 2020 elections and the efforts to steal it for Donald Trump. They want to move forward.

And who can blame them? They were not standing on the sidelines in 2020. They were in the game.

Let's forget about what happened on January 6, 2021. Let's put that behind us.

But Donald Trump will not let them put that behind them. It is the glue that keeps his cult together.

And they don't dare to challenge the criminal liar that runs their former Party.

But, can Joe Biden do this?

Just drop all the stolen documents charges against Trump and we'll call it even...

That's what Trump and the Republicans want. You can't drop all the charges against Biden and continue to hound Trump over stolen documents, they say.

What's good for the Democrats is good for the Republicans.

Never mind what was in the documents. Never mind that Trump stole classified documents (surreptitiously) and they still have not been accounted for.

Never mind that he hid them from the FBI and refused to turn them over when asked to do so.

Never mind that he had his flunkies to move them to keep them from being discovered.

Never mind that he had the highest classified nuclear secrets in his possession and Joe Biden had a memo he had written to Barack Obama expressing his disapproval with his Afghanistan policy.

Never mind that the Special Counsel, Robert Hur, was a tool of Donald Trump's.

Joe Biden had classified documents in his possession and that is all people need to know.

I'm certain the press will impress upon them that what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

No shame. No conscience.

Nixon and Trump had one thing in common. They were both shameless and believed that they were above the law.

Trump is different from Nixon in another respect. Nixon had a conscience. Trump does not. He can spout lies as if he were reading them from the Bible. He can claim immunity as if it was a God-given right. For his supporters, he does it so sincerely and so persuasively, they believe that every President in history has been hindered, in some way, because they did not have absolute immunity.

It doesn't matter how ridiculous and absurd are his claims. He does it shamelessly. Because he has no conscience.

The law and the truth are an existential threat to Trump and his Republican accomplices.

The whole government and the whole world is rigged against them.

It is not the grand jury, or the courts, or the judges, or the rule of law that is charging them with crimes against this country, it is Joe Biden, and the Democrats, and the judges nominated by Barack Obama.

They must unite behind Donald Trump to defeat this "election interference". They must step forward and declare themselves loyal to the Leader that wants absolute immunity from any crimes that have been committed or may be committed in the future.

They must stand together against Joe Biden and the godless Democrats. They must defend Donald Trump until their last breath.

Why?

Because they are not innocent bystanders.
