Friday Night Rum Buzz. Ask me anything.

Enjoying an Acapulco tonight: rum, Cointreau, simple syrup, lime juice, and an egg white. It’s my first attempt at a cocktail using egg. I like it.

The drink is delightfully frothy and smooth due to the egg white. I’ll probably have this one again.

I hope you are all looking forward to the weekend.

I love you all…

Attention Republicans! Donald Trump's administration is what happens when you want

government to be run "like a business".

The clown in charge tends to run the United States the way he ran his business. And isn't that paying dividends!...

Friday Night Vodka Buzz. Ask me anything.

I’m having an (I’m not kidding with the name) I Dream Of Jeannie Martini; vodka, rum, Cointreau, and lime juice. It’s supposed to include cranberry juice, as well. But I don’t have any. It’s pretty cloyingly sweet. The cranberry juice cuts that a little, probably. I don’t think I’ll have another.

Hope everyone is looking forward to a relaxing weekend.

I love you all…

Friday Night Champagne Buzz. Ask me anything.

A toast to the indictments of TFG, and a solemn hope that a Federal conviction will lock him out of any future Presidential ambitions.

And a toast to my new job. I gave notice today so I don’t get robbed of my paid time off money.

I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

Up next: an American Flyer; champagne, rum, lime juice, and sugar.

I love you all…

More than I could ever say…

"These indictments that I have brought before you today, specific charges herein against the

individuals, these are matters of undeniable fact."

Tonight, I think Mrs. Aristus and I are finally going to crack our bottle of champagne.

It's been in the fridge since the New Year. It stayed unopened for her birthday, our anniversary, the first indictment, and the second indictment. I think it is finally time. We will have a celebratory glass together.

And then, with any leftover champagne, I will finally have a chance to try out my bar book's selection of champagne cocktails. And I will share my experience with all of you.

Hope to see you tonight...

Friday Night Vodka Buzz. Ask me anything.

Two shots to get the party started. Now enjoying a Tidal Wave; rum, blue curaçao, amaretto, lime juice, and a pinch of powdered sugar. Yum!

Well, the credentialing process for the new job has started. I’ll be spending most of the weekend filling out forms. Probably start first week of October.

Nice to have some light at the end of the tunnel.

Paralyzingly busy day at work. Just unspooling a little.

I love you all…

Happy Saturday evening, Loungers. Enjoying a Corpse Reviver tonight.

On the name alone, I should have one after a day of clinic. Nice relaxing day today. Another day of rest before starting the work week again.

I threw a marischino cherry into my drink, even though the recipe doesn’t call for one. I wanted one, dammit.

I love you all…

Friday Night Rum Buzz. Ask me anything.

Two shots of coconut rum to get the party started.

Now, a sherry sangaree: dry sherry, Cointreau, and simple syrup. Yum!

Not a bad week. Most of you know that I’ve accepted a position with my company’s crosstown rival (actually just a few blocks away), so it’s only a matter of time.

So it’s a little weird that I’m finally having some slow, measured, low-pressure days in clinic. No frantic rush-rush-rush to get to the next patient. No career second-thoughts, etc.

Had a very stressful, emotionally draining final patient encounter for the week, though. I’m going to de-stress for a while.

I love you all…
