Pant-suits.

I'm glad to see that the pants-suits for which Hillary Clinton is notable have gone from being objects of derision to objects of affection. They are probably the least-important of her many attributes, but it's gratifying to see people talking about them in a positive way now.

Why did the Rebel Alliance blow up the Death Star? The Death Star didn't destroy Alderaan.

It was the Empire. The Empire destroyed Alderaan. The Death Star was just a tool. A tool. Like a hammer. Or a T-square.

The Empire needed the Death Star for home defense. They wanted to be able to protect themselves in case the Rebel Alliance broke into the Empire's house some night.

A tool. That's all the Death Star was.

The Rebel Alliance went and ruined it for all law-abiding Death Star-owners.

I'm reading a book on clinical medicine case studies.

It's a lot more interesting that my recertification study manual, which is as dry as a month-old bagel.

Three weeks until my exam. Reading these case studies gives me a lot of confidence. Most of the time, I can spot the diagnosis and predict the next step in evaluation and treatment. The times when I'm wrong serve as a good, and often exciting, learning opportunity.
