OMT---One. More. Time. Could posters PLEASE stop using acronyms that are not VERY

COMMON? I'm not complaining about all acronyms. Everybody uses and FBI and CIA and WTF. But, the use of acronyms used only by a select community or profession on a board with a very diverse readership is at best poor communication and at worst a sort of condescension: "Oh, you don't know that RNBs are Red Neck Ballerinas? I thought everyone knew that!!"

Gr-r-r-r!

Mr. Trump, sir---sorry to bother you because I know you're real busy with all those

Bedminster meetings and all, but I do have another suggestion.

Now, I think it's great that you're having that gun-toting St. Louis couple, the McCloskeys, on your convention program. The way they came out of their mansion barefoot with loaded guns and pointed them at the liberal riffraff walking past was really something that just personifies members of your base. But, you could easily add a few more exemplary Second Amendment heroes to your extravaganza next week.

I'll bet that Cliven and Ammon Bundy would be happy to give you a rousing "that's our guy" type endorsement speech. They have lots of well-armed friends and that could soon be a good bunch to have on your side.

And, though his speech would have to be taped, you know that Dylann Roof and you are what they call "sympatico"----two peas in a pod, so to speak. Sure, he's in prison, but I am sure you could pull the right strings to get a camera crew into his cell block. ( You might want to "suggest" some remarks for Dylann to make as he's not a natural orator like you!)

So, while the McCloskeys' endorsement of you will be great, they are relative newcomers to the "Come and take it!" scene. The Bundys and Roof are already famous and would add a big exclamation point to the statement you're making.

Please MAGA, sir, MAGA!

Lemme see fye gottiss right----Trump misses no opportunity lately to stick out his chin,

strut back and forth behind his podium and loudly claim to be a "law and order" candidate. To back this up, he regularly does his best "Il Douche" impersonation and threatens Democratic mayors with sending his own unbadged mercenary stormtroopers into there city to assault mostly peaceful protestors. This, RWNJs reliably chant, is proof that he is a "tough, no-nonsense kinda guy" who we can "count on to protect us against socialists, anarchists, Democrats and poopy heads".

But, because Kamala Harris, as a duly elected prosecutor several years ago, actually enforced the laws she had sworn an oath to enforce, SHE is somehow an intolerant unsympathetic "hardass" who is out of touch with real people.

I am just certain that the fact that he is a white Republican male while she is a black Democratic woman has absolutely nothing to do with the different standards being applied.

In view of the real possibility that both Marjorie Taylor Greene and Laura Loomer may

actually be elected to Congress, you have to wonder: if Irma Grese was still alive and ran in a Republican congressional primary, could anyone defeat her?

The very embarrassing---mortifying---elephant in the room:

Even the most recent soul-lifting polls that show Biden's lead over Trump up in the teens---show that over a third of our neighbors are so fucking ignorant and/or spitefully corrupt that they STILL want to re-elect the Russian tool.

Trump supporters, maybe you should sit down before you read this. I mean, this will come as

a total shock to those who are still wearing their MAGA caps and not wearing a face mask. In fact, if you have a pacemaker or any heart problems, don't read this unless you're already in an ER.

Ready? OK---deep breath---merely SAYING that something is so does NOT make it so! ( I'll pause here for a few seconds to let you catch your breath and get your heart rate back down below 100 )

Proof, you say? You want proof?

Trump SAYS he's kept all his promises. Name three.

He has NOT built a "beautiful wall". He has NOT provided ANY Obamacare replacement, let alone something "cheaper and better". He has NOT, by his own admission, appointed the "best people".

He HAS mocked a physically impaired journalist. He HAS insulted US war heroes and Gold Star parents. He HAS boasted about sexually assaulting women.

He has NOT made his tax returns public. He has NOT taken any effective action to protect us from the Corona virus pandemic. He has NOT been "too busy making America great" to play golf most weekends at taxpayer expense.

He HAS made himself---and America---an international laughingstock. He HAS called violent white supremacists "very fine people". He HAS made it clear that he intends to bring Social Security and Medicare to an end.

So, Trumpies, I'll wait: list three things he promised to do and then did or three things he said he'd never do and has not. Be specific, please. None of this "he made America great again" BS!

Three.

Two?

Single malt can round off a lot of sharp edges, but it does little to alter reality

in any meaningful way.

I no longer care if others consider an occasional foray into whisky nirvana as confirmation of my weakness. It offers respite which I understand is temporary.

Tomorrow will find me sober, emotionally rested and determined to prevail.

G'night.

For now, can we join to say just one thing to Postmaster General DeJoy?

"PUT OUR DAMN MAIL BOXES BACK---NOW!"

There is no way in the world that I could engage in a "discussion" with someone who

was going to argue that Trump should be re-elected.

If some idiot insists that the world is flat or the Holocaust was a hoax or that windmills cause cancer, should we dignify their proud ignorance by "discussing" the pros and cons of their "position"?

Doesn't the mere act of responding to those promoting an obvious fraud---a transparent obscenity---imply that "there are two sides" worthy of consideration?

There is NOTHING to discuss with a Trump supporter. Frankly, I don't even want to breathe the same air.
