An open letter to Marjorie Taylor-Greene:

Have you ever heard the old saying--- "What's good for the goose is good for the gander"? Well, ma'am, I have been paying attention to your approach to politics, especially how you deal with those with whom you disagree and I believe it is time that you drink from the cup you filled.

Why do you Republican nazis hate beagle puppies? No---no---don't start that whiny "What are you talking about?" bullshit! You know damn well that you sadistic warpos regularly skewer living beagle puppies and roast them alive to serve at your fund raisers!

And, why do you even need fundraisers since you have already printed billions of dollars worth of counterfeit Ben Franklin's at that printing factory you THINK you have concealed inside Mt. Rushmore. Did you think no one would notice the air traffic delivering cargo to Abe's left nostril and hauling "contributions" from George's ear?

When---"Margie"--- are you going to reveal your true identity as a reptilian alien whose mothership is in an orbit in which it is constantly concealed by our moon? Do you really think no video exists which shows you sneaking behind a dumpster in an alley to snarf down a live rat? Can you possibly believe we can't tell when you've just shed your skin?

So, before we respond to any of your transparently false and shamefully (look it up) ignorant accusations and smears, respond to those.

P.S.--- How'd that joint "fundraising" effort you tried with Li'l Mattie Gaetz go, hm-m-m? Hahahahahahahaha!

There used to be something called a "limit" that had existed in something called "reality".

As all must now agree, these concepts are now widely considered ---at best, "quaint"--- at worst, foolishly naive.

There are now people in Congress, for cryin' out loud, who shamelessly pursue the destruction of our democracy, insist that the loser of the last election is still POTUS and that members of some sort of "Jewish elite" are intentionally starting first fires with "space lasers"! These are just a few examples of the sort of policies and pronouncements that have made "You just can't make this shit up!" one of the most frequently voiced reactions to the daily political news.

I will not tire you with a list of other actions and words which used to be considered "over the top", "out of bounds" or even "career ending". These are no longer relevant characterizations because they presume that some things are "appropriate" while others are not; i.e., that those "quaint" limits still exist. For too many, they do not.

In a time when those who used to be considered lunatics or congenital liars can persuade tens (hundreds?) of thousands to refuse scientifically proven vaccines while they gag down tubes of horse-wormer paste, are we not ourselves fools to expect that "reason" will eventually prevail?

As we make our own personal decisions about how we can best help Joe Biden implement his agenda, let's keep in mind: THEY have no limits.

"Trying to have a conversation with you would be like arguing with a dining room table.".

Thus spake the inimitable Democratic Representative Barney Frank to a reporter who asked a question ALMOST as ignorant as the ones now lobbed at Democrats on a daily basis.

Personally, I would rather engage any piece of furniture in conversation if the alternative was the likes of that smarmy anal sphincter- that Fox continues to send off to the White House press room no matter how many times he comes back with his ass in a sling.

It would be refreshing---no, ASTOUNDING---if those who aspire to be journalists would one day realize that broadcasting or publishing remarks which, for example, repeat the big lie or recommend the latest ivermectin cocktail LEND CREDENCE (look it up, trumptrolls!) to both the lies and those who spew them.

Given the depth of the ignorance accumulating in nearly any forum of public discourse, we may end not with a bang or a whimper. but with a bewildered "Doh!"

So, today, tfg just had to tell Meghan McCain that her dad was a "RINO's RINO", i.e. a

Republican In Name Only.

Just how lame, pathetic, despicable, disgusting and evil does a person have to be to STILL be going out of their way to smear the memory of a genuine American hero who died over two years ago?

Every time we think his conduct "couldn't go any lower", he digs a basement under it.

We have heard that "Not all who wander are lost." Isn't it just as true that not all

Democrats who are not "liberal" are "centrist"?

"This is it!", "They've gone too far this time!", "This is a bridge too far!", "The Republicans

won't let this slide!" "The reasonable Republicans will support nation over party!"

How many times have we heard these impassioned bleats? How many times have some of us thought or said equivalent things?

Today, EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN SENATOR voted against even DISCUSSING the voting rights bill upon which the survival of our democracy depends.

There IS no "bridge too far"for them. There is no obscenity they will not "let slide". There are no "reasonable Republicans" in the Senate---possibly none anywhere.

Whither goest thou now, contrarians? Is "preserved the filibuster but destroyed democracy" what you want in the first paragraph of your obituaries?

I'll ask again---Why should the House not exercise it's inherent contempt power, have the

Sergeant at Arms or a deputy arrest Bannon, have him brought before the January 6th Committee and asked if he will comply with the subpoena? If he refuses, why not jail him in a rented cell and tell him he will remain there until he changes his attitude? This could be done IN ADDITION to a criminal contempt referral to the AG.

If funding for the cell rental is an issue, I'll bet a Go Fund Me account would quickly overflow with contributions from people eager to invest in democracy. Put me down for a Ben Franklin.

We love arugula---or "ruchetta"---or "rocket", as you prefer. It loves cool temps and I planted

some in late August behind my compost bin. Wow! With all the rain it has really prospered.

Went out to pick a salad's-worth this morning and found a bonus: a couple of 12 inch tall volunteer dill plants that "escaped" their bed around the corner and now stood above the arugula. Mrs. A REALLY likes fresh dill chopped on top of a salad.

That's already been done. Covered fresh garden salad in the fridge.

I know who he is and respect his work, but without some explanation for his

disregard for McGrain v. Daugherty, I still have no real answer go the question posed in my OP.
