Want to read a response about DACA from a walking POS?

Dear Sinkingfeeling,

Thank you for contacting me about the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Itís good to hear from you, as always.

President Trumpís decision to phase out the DACA program is a first step toward cleaning up the mess that President Obamaís unlawful amnesty left behind. President Trump is right that this amnesty would never have stood up in court. Yet, we now face a situation where 800,000 people, who were brought to our country as minors, face legal limbo. Dealing with this problem is a legislative task, not an executive-branch task.

We must recognize that codifying the DACA program will have two negative consequences: encouraging future illegal immigration with minors and allowing those 800,000 people to obtain legal status for their family members via chain migration, which rewards the very people who broke the law in the first place and further depresses working-class wages. If Congress decides to codify DACA, we must mitigate these consequences by stopping the chain migration that hurts the working class and by strengthening the enforcement of our immigration laws.

Iíve introduced legislation, the RAISE Act, that would update Americaís permanent, legal immigration system to fit the needs of our 21st century economy, and my colleagues have several proposals to strengthen enforcement. These should be the starting point of our discussions over legislation to codify DACA, and I look forward to working with all of my colleagues to come up with a deal that protects American workers.

Iím honored to serve as your senator. You, your family, and our state will remain on my mind and close to my heart in my work. Always feel free to call my office at (202) 224-2353 or visit www.cotton.senate.gov. Be sure to drop by my office and say hello if you ever visit our nationís capital.

U..S. Votes Against U.N. Ban On Death Penalty For Homosexuality

Source: Newnownext.com

A United Nations resolution banning the death penalty for homosexuality was opposed by a total of 13 countries in the U.N. Human Rights Council. While several were in Africa and the Middle East, the U.S. surprisingly voted against the measure, as well.

Fortunately the resolution passed on Friday anyway, with 27 countries voting for the measure.

"This is a monumental moment where the international community has publicly highlighted that these horrific laws simply must end,Ē said Renato Sabbadini, director of The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA). ďIt is unconscionable to think that there are hundreds of millions of people living in states where somebody may be executed simply because of whom they love.Ē

Previous efforts by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Russia to block or water down the resolution failed.

A Big Thank You, America! From The Super Rich

By David Vey Johnston,
DCReport Editor in Chief

Congress is about to take up Donald Trumpís desire for people like himself to get income-tax-rate cuts. So, whatís the long-term trend in tax-rate cuts? And how has the vast majority fared compared with the richest?

Take a seat. The numbers may knock the breath out of you when you read what 52 years have done to the incomes and tax burdens of the vast majority and those at the apex of the economy.

Arkansas (probably most of the South) illogical logic.

I was reading the letters in our state newspaper, the Arkansas Democratic Gazette, and find it amazing. Those who claim 'taking a knee' is disrespecting the flag and our military vets are the same people who decry removal of statutes and monuments of those who physically attacked the flag and killed US Army soldiers.

Since the Graham-Cassidy bill would kill many more people than

either massive hurricanes or a foreign terrorist attack, why aren't we seeing the MSM spending 99.9% of their time warning the American people? Why aren't newspapers covering this on the front page? Where are the visuals on all TV channels showing the additional costs that will go to those with preexisting conditions?

Read this reply from the Dishonorable Senator Tom Cotton about DACA.

Dear Sinkingfeeling,

Thank you for sharing your concerns with me about Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. It's good to hear from you, as always.

I strongly oppose former President Obamaís Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy, which defers immigration action against illegal immigrants who claim to have entered the country as minors. I urge the Trump administration to work with legislators to end the failed policies encouraging young individuals to enter the United States illegally. We must reform our current system to secure our border and end this unsustainable course.

I therefore donít support Senator Lindsey Grahamís (R-SC) Bar Removal of Individuals Who Dream and Grow our Economy Act (BRIDGE) Act of 2017, though I do share Senator Grahamís concerns about fixing the immigration system. I am committed to an immigration policy that will protect our borders, stop illegal immigration, and maintain a strong legal immigration process that serves U.S. interests. However, our federal government is failing at a core constitutional duty: securing our borders and enforcing immigration laws. I will work during my time in the Senate to fix these failures. Should any relevant legislation come before the Senate regarding visas, permits, or an entry-exit system, you can be assured that I will keep your concerns in mind.

You can help me as I aim to represent Arkansansóplease continue to keep me informed of your opinion. A well-functioning representative democracy relies on active, engaged citizens like you to inform and hold their elected leaders accountable. I always find input from my constituents on matters of public policy to be both insightful and useful as I work to represent your interests.

I am truly honored to serve as your Senatoróplease know that your interests and affairs have my unceasing attention. Always feel free to call my office at (202) 224-2353 or visit www.cotton.senate.gov.

Somebody talk me down! Just got into a shouting match with an

aide to Rep. Womack in Rogers, Arkansas over DACA.
First time I've ever lost it on a call. The guy tried to tell me that there wouldn't be any deportations unless 'they do something wrong. I said, "Bullshit!".

I'm still shaking with anger.

Is there a replacement for Photobucket that has all of same features?

I downloaded Imgur to my phone and couldn't see anywhere to upload pictures. After I agreed to terms and conditions, it just showed a couple of gifs over and over. No site map nor homepage with instructions.

What is everybody using since Photobucket went nuts and wants like $40 a month?
