Princess Di's brother says she thought Trump was 'worse than an anal fissure'.

Princess Diana's brother has blasted Donald Trump and said his sister found him 'worse than an anal fissure' after the former US president claimed she and the Queen 'kissed his a**' in a new book.

Charles Spencer, 58, also accused Trump of using Diana's name to 'sell some real estate', adding he was surprised to hear of his boasts about a number of celebrities and public figures.

He tweeted: 'Surprised to hear that Donald Trump is apparently claiming that my late sister Diana wanted to "kiss his a**e", since the one time she mentioned him to me - when he was using her good name to sell some real estate in New York - she clearly viewed him as worse than an anal fissure.'

The claim comes as the former US president is set to reveal 150 letters that were sent to him as part of his new book 'Letters to Trump' - due to be published next month.

Trump said: 'I think they're going to see a very fascinating life.

Actor Robert Blake 'In Cold Blood' 'Baretta' has died.

Robert Blake, the Emmy award-winning performer who went from acclaim for his acting to notoriety when he was tried and acquitted in the killing of his wife, died Thursday at age 89.

A statement released on behalf of his niece, Noreen Austin, said Blake died from heart disease, surrounded by family at home in Los Angeles.

Blake, star of the 1970s TV show, "Baretta," had once hoped for a comeback, but he never recovered from the long ordeal which began with the shooting death of his wife, Bonny Lee Bakley, outside a Studio City restaurant on May 4, 2001. The story of their strange marriage, the child it produced and its violent end was a Hollywood tragedy played out in court.

It was an ignominious finale for a life lived in the spotlight from childhood. As a youngster, he starred in the "Our Gang" comedies and acted in a movie classic, "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre." As an adult, he was praised for his portrayal of real-life murderer Perry Smith in the movie of Truman Capote's "In Cold Blood."

WASHINGTON – A Stark County man learned Monday he must spend 49 months in federal prison for his role in breaching the U.S. Capitol.

John Douglas Wright, 56, was sentenced in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia., more than two years after the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection.

Wright addressed Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, expressing remorse and taking responsibility.

“I want to apologize for my actions, not just to you, but to the government, to fellow Americans,” Wright said. “I was there and am responsible for it."

During the sentencing, the U.S. attorney showed video footage and photographs of Wright at the Capitol. The footage showed Wright pushing against barricades by the Capitol Police, as well as another video showing him pushing a piece of the metal barricade fencing down on a Capitol Police officer.

According to court documents, Wright organized two charter buses that he owned to travel to Washington, D.C., charging 100 people $50 each to go to D.C. for the “Stop the Steal” rally.

Tenn woman used Covid funds for travel to Trump resort and plastic surgery sentenced to 6 years.

A Tennessee woman who was already on probation for fraud when she stole thousands of dollars in Covid relief funds and used the money to travel to a Florida resort and receive plastic surgery was sentenced this week to more than six years in prison and ordered to pay the money back.

Leslie Bethea, 30, of Surgoinsville, pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud and one count of making a false statement to her probation officer after being indicted in June on wire fraud, money laundering and other charges. Judge J. Ronnie Greer sentenced Bethea to 78 months in prison on Monday.

According to the Department of Justice, Bethea applied for a Payroll Protection Program loan in March 2021, claiming she had made $99,835 in 2019 — a year during which she was in prison for wire fraud. Bethea also claimed on the application that she had not been convicted of any fraud offenses in the five years prior.

She received a $20,805 PPP loan in April 2021 and used a portion of it to pay for a five-day trip to the Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, according to the Department of Justice. While there, she also used the money to pay for a cosmetic surgery procedure, the Justice Department said. Prosecutors say she lied to her probation officer about her finances and travel when she returned.

“Upon her return to Tennessee, Bethea then submitted a false monthly supervision report to her probation officer for the month of April 2021,” the DOJ said. “In that report, Bethea falsely claimed she had only received $200 during the month of April, falsely claimed she had no expenses of more than $500 (even though she paid more than that amount to the Sunny Isles Beach resort and the plastic surgery practice while in Florida), and falsely stated that she had not travelled out of the state of Tennessee during the month of April 2021.”

In addition to her sentence in prison, Bethea was ordered to pay restitution of the amount of the loan.
