PCIntern's JournalThis Smerconish column is worth a read...
http://www.philly.com/philly/news/20140126_The_Pulse__A_second_look_at_Christie_turndown.htmlAbout (probably/possibly) why Smerconish lost his ability to interview Christie which he had done several times previously. Not uninteresting and demonstrates, once again, the pettiness of the Governor.
I have somewhat significant connections to two of the 'good guys' in this NJ scandal...
they alway plays cards close to the vest or blouse, were on top of this a long time ago and are now deeply involved. If anything kind of breaks out of the bastion of secrecy, I'll let you all know here. Just don't tell anyone else who told you...it's just among us.
49ers are getting hosed by the refs...
I've never seen anything quite like it. It would be as if President Obama were before Darrell Issa's committee.
Hey Republicans...
The answer to your rhetorical "question" is that she, that is the Mayor of Hoboken, didn't say anything before because she was rightfully afraid to. It's just that simple.

My favorite short joke of all time:
This idiot guy takes his girlfriend to her door. He says to her, "Hey baby, how about a goodnight fuck?" She replies, "OK...goodnight, fuck."
It's "goodnight fuck" to the tinhorn-Mussolini crowd in Jersey. It really was amateur hour there.
So I have this Police Detective patient who
when I mentioned the Christie business he IMMEDIATELY told me that in one of the New England states...he couldn't EXACTLY remember which one, Hillary's people kept people from getting to the polls during some primary up there. And so: "this is how it's done by everyone".
My reply was: so you're an admirer of Hillary, eh?
The conversation sort of went downhill from there... I held my ground for a change.
My point is I guess, is that when you see that there's a statistic or poll that sys that 60% have unchanged feelings about him, that it implies that people who really hate the guy can't hate him any more. My feelings about Christie haven't changed one iota. If he were found to be a serial killer my feelings about him wouldn't change. Sorry...this is how I feel about people like him, given my background and youth experiences.
Many years ago someone described the Fox Perpetual-Motion Machine for Idiots:
1. Shows such as Married: With Children, The Simpsons, House, American Dad, Family Guy, and many many others all undermine the basic tenets of Conservative Beliefs: irreverence for authority, stupid and ineffectual parents, adolescent sexual humor, political and social anarchy, and more!
2. Fox News decries all of the above ceaselessly, blaming (a non-existent liberal) media for society's ills, without conceding that they themselves as a network have done more to facilitate - in their eyes- this "decadence".
3. Shows like Married: With Children, The Simpsons, House, American Dad, Family Guy, and many many others all make fun of RW talking heads and even feature them doing so in the show! (See Family Guy with Limbaugh as a guest voice playing himself)
4. Rinse. Repeat.
Little Luke Russert just used the word:
"vominating" which means to vomit and urinate simultaneously.
He must be most familiar with that experience from all those great frat parties! With babes!
All jokes aside: does he know what that means? Was he repeating what he was told? Or does he think that that is the past tense of the word "vomit"? Enquiring minds want to KNOW!
