BARBRA STREISAND! Watch this video: "Don't Lie to Me"

Here's one of mine - see if you can help!

ETA it would help if I added the image, no?

If you're phone banking, canvassing, or writing cards (like me!), how's it going?

Better minds than mine - is this scenario a false equivalency for abortion?

I am pro-choice, so I need no convincing regarding keeping abortion safe and legal for anyone who wants one. I was trying to think of a way to come up with a narrative to explain why no one should impose their will upon another person's personal and medical decisions. With a forced pregnancy, you undergo a medical procedure (pre-natal care, birth, aftercare), your body will change, and you may or may not be left with scars.

Here's my scenario: Your child/sibling/parent needs a liver transplant. Now, the liver regenerates so yes, you'll have a medical procedure, your body will change, but it'll turn out more or less how you started, minus some scars. Should you be legally obliged to submit to surgery to keep your loved one alive - even if you don't want to (I know you should not) because you're saving a life?

Please help me shape this or let me know if I'm on the right or wrong track. I'm sure someone smarter than me has figured this out

Hurricane Florence kills 4, including infant, in NC, officials say

(CNN) - At least four people, including a mother and her infant, have died in North Carolina as Hurricane Florence slowly moves through the Carolinas, officials said Friday.

Two people died in Wilmington after a tree fell on their house, the city's police department said.

"WPD can confirm the first two fatalities of Hurricane #Florence in Wilmington. A mother and infant were killed when a tree fell on their house," police tweeted Friday afternoon. "The father was transported to (New Hanover Regional Medical Center) with injuries."

The hospital said it has received three injured patients.

I think the Op-Ed writer is

Colonel Mustard in the library with the candlestick.

I'm sorry. I'm trying to calm my nerves. The young man who stole three rings from me ($16,000 worth, the only really expensive things I have) meets me in a courtroom in a few hours.

Amazingly, I got all three rings back - two from one pawn shop, and one from another pawn shop farther away. Long story - and interesting one, I think.

I expect the young man will plea. He was on probation when he stole them, so I don't know how that works. I've asked for $100 in restitution for the money I used as a down payment for the most expensive ring at the pawn shop. I'll let you know how it goes. I can use some good vibes right now - and thanks
