Ok......anyone see the USA/ECU match??? and the commentators afterward??

It was the best commentary EVER......and it was about soccer. It was brilliant. A woman, an asolutely fabulous, shoot, don't know the nationality of the gentleman, and a white guy, who I'm sure was an USA player. This four team was just so awesome......they all knew their stuff from all different perspectives. But just to let you know the unknown origin gentleman speaking was MY FAVORITE, and if others see him, it's over for him. Big time baby....he's outta there. He was delish. The next big thing. They all were great but him......whew, the quad best.

Curious.......how many neighbors do you consider like family??

We've been in this neighborhood for 16 years...and still feel like "outsiders". Of course we're Green Bay Packer fans, and most neighbors are Viking fans........some are Packer fans, but there is a pretty big divide. Only reason we're here was our best friends found a home, and we found our home about four blocks from them. Now......after 16 years we're not friends we're actually just neighbors, just wave as we pass by their home, and the wife, my X kinda friend is dying. When we moved here in 2000 we did everything together, dinners, birthdays, vacations, in fact the best vacation we EVER had was with them. Then one beastly hot day, like 92 degrees, they were taking their boat out and I said sorry, can't go I'm dying here, I hate the hot weather. Shortly after that, we quit getting together. Miss them terribly......she's dying, doing ok but a short life line. Her husband is quite standoffish, when 14 years ago we were so close. I know, get over whatever happened and try to possibly restablish what we had. We've tried, and he won't go back. He doesn't want his wife to have much company because she's so sick......so we don't go visit. I e-mail her every week asking how she's doing, what's going on, etc. she sounds positive and we talk of her family, neighbors and medical stuff. But, it's not the same.......miss her terribly. We send flowers every month or so.....keep thinking only reason we're where we are is because of them. My husband and I are on our deck overlooking the Mississippi River having a cocktail, a pipeful of weed and listing to rock & roll from the 70's/ 80's missing our original friends.

a serious question.....do you think the shooter was so distraught about HIS own sexuality that he

did this horrific act???

now what about this fellow, he's trying to legally kill himself because of his sexuality: http://www.care2.com/causes/gay-man-who-cant-accept-his-sexuality-tests-belgiums-euthanasia-law.html

Belgium’s right to die law faces a new test this month. A gay man, so distressed about his sexuality, wants the right to have a medically assisted death.

A 39-year-old Belgian, known to the press as Sébastien, has disclosed that after years of psychological distress, he hopes to undergo medically-assisted suicide.

The man, who reportedly grew up in a Catholic family and lived with a mother who suffered dementia, has known since the age of 15 that he is attracted to “young men and adolescent boys.” Due to his troubled background, the man cannot reconcile the distress he feels.

Sébastien contends that he has struggled with his feelings for over 24 years — 17 of those involving psychological therapy. He feels he has no other therapeutic options left and, as a result, requests the right to die.

“My whole life has led me to this, really,” Sébastien tells the BBC. “My mother had dementia, so I wasn’t right, mentally. All that was instilled in me, so I was extremely lonely, extremely withdrawn, very inhibited physically – scared to go out, scared of being seen, all the time scared, hugely shy. And growing up, I met a boy and I fell crazy in love. We were both 15. And it was just unbearable for me, you know? I didn’t want to be gay.”

I don't really think that the Isis connection is the pursuit that should be followed...... JMHO. I'm sure others have thought this as well.

Christie's office denies claim he is Trump's 'manservant'

tRump's 'manservant'

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who has fashioned himself as a "confidant" of Donald Trump, serves as more of an assistant, according to a report.

In an article published online Monday, The New Yorker cites an anonymous Republican source claiming that Christie has instead "transformed himself into a sort of manservant, who is constantly with Trump at events."

Though Christie is only mentioned by name four times in the article, it's the first reference that has gone viral:

"Governor Chris Christie, of New Jersey, another of Trump’s opponents early in the campaign, has transformed himself into a sort of manservant, who is constantly with Trump at events. (One Republican told me that a friend of his on the Trump campaign used Snapchat to send him a video of Christie fetching Trump’s McDonald’s order.)"

In an email, a spokesman for the governor's office denied the McDonald's anecdote, calling it "pure trash."
