The Greatest Threat to Our Nation is Stupidity

If we could wipe out the abject Stupidity that has gripped our country, we could go on to form a more perfect union - one free of political grifters who take their constituents' money while fucking them at every opportunity.

What is it other than Stupidity that leads American citizens to support politicians whose idea of 'freedom' means taking away a women's right to choose, or a parent's right to ensure that their children have more access to books and less access to guns?

What is it other than Stupidity that convinces God-fearing "Christians" that a lying, self-proclaimed pussy-grabber was anointed by the Almighty to lead a nation?

What is it other than Stupidity that causes people living paycheque-to-paycheque to donate money to multi-millionaires like Joel Osteen so he can afford to live in luxury while they scrounge to afford to eat - or donate money to people like Steve Bannon who pocketed their "Build the Wall" funds while laughing at their gullibility all the way to the bank?

What is it other than Stupidity that prompts voters to elect whack-jobs who believe in Jewish Space Lasers, the Gazpacho Police, and peach-tree dishes?

What is it other than Stupidity that convinces the Unbearably Stupid to vote for the very people who disdain them, despise them, and see them as suckers who will literally believe any bullshit they're fed?

If we could wipe out Stupidity like the mind-numbing, brain-eating disease that it is, we might actually achieve
being the democracy we were always destined to be.

Fight the Stupidity at every opportunity - it's our only chance of survival.

Tell me again how Democrats are determined to take our freedoms away, while you continue to ensure that women have no right to choose how and when they have children.

Tell me again how you want to protect the integrity of the vote, while you do everything possible to suppress the votes of those who traditionally vote against you.

Tell me again how making access to firearms easier is a logical response to mass shootings.

Tell me again how drag queens reading books to children is 'grooming them' to be sexual deviants, while sending out Christmas cards showing your own children holding guns isn't grooming kids to be future killers.

And while you're at it, tell me again how banning books isn't grooming kids to grow up to be ill-informed idiots who can't compete with better-informed people around the world.

Tell me again what good Christians you are, while you consistently vote against Christ's admonitions to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and care for the sick.

Yes, by all means, tell me again what patriots you are, while praising those who sought to overturn our democracy on January 6th - all at the behest of a 'patriotic pResident' who declared our military to be comprised of losers, who used his 'pResidency' to personally enrich himself, who declared himself 'in love' with our enemies, and who stole our country's classified documents for purposes we can only speculate about.

These are only a few of the tall tales we folks with common sense find laughable - along with the blatant hypocrisy of your policies, and the beyond-hilarious antics of the whack-jobs that are now the face of your party.

It's said that he who laughs last laughs best - and the GOP should take note of who was laughing the loudest after the 2020 election, not to mention the 2022 midterms and the Red Wave that never happened.

Tall tales only work on the dumbest-of-the-dumb - and the GOP's worst nightmare is the idea that their own constituents are beginning to wake up to the reality that Republican fairy tales are nothing more than bedtime stories designed to lull complacent, ignorant children to sleep while alleged adults burn the country to the ground.

So tell me that tale again, Republicans - the one where you're going to sweep the 2024 election with the same bullshit that lost you 2020 and 2022.

It's a story I so love to hear.

... I am even more grateful for the fact of All of YOU being here.

We will never really know who we've touched, who we have inspired, who we have encouraged, whose spirits we have lifted at exactly the right time, in exactly the right way.

We will never know to a certainty how many emoticons reminded someone they are not alone, or how many K&Rs it takes to say "I am with you" as you join in to mourn the loss of a spouse, a best friend, a beloved pet.

We are family. We laugh together, we cry together. We celebrate our victories - and we often save each other from despair.

I thank you for the Hearts - but I thank you more for being who you are.

Outrage

I don't know what it is about Joe Biden's actions, statements, and overall agenda that has you Republicans so outraged.

Is it those historically low unemployment numbers that are driving you crazy? Is it the strengthening of our failing infrastructure that has you out on the nearest ledge? Is lowering the price of insulin the straw that's breaking your back?

Is it the idea that your tax dollars are being spent on feeding hungry children instead of funding the shipment of immigrants to northern cities to be dumped without food, clothing, and the money needed to survive? You keep calling yourselves 'good Christians' - and yet I'm not seeing the teachings of Christ reflected in Republican policies that deny feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, caring for the sick and dying.

Maybe your objection to Biden is more personal. Is it the fact that Joe Biden is lauded as a true leader the world over, while Trump was laughed at by world leaders as a buffoon? Is it the fact that you can't find any nude pics of the current First Lady, no matter how many Google searches you try? Is it the fact that 'Sleepy Joe' keeps accomplishing things that actually improve the lives of hard-working, middle-class Americans?

I really don't understand what Republican voters are so outraged about , other than what they've been told to be outraged about by the powers-that-be in the GOP who have nothing to offer but - you guessed it - OUTRAGE.
