If Kevin McCarthy seems out of his depth, rudderless, and incompetent in government leadership it's because his heart is still at his failed Bakersfield deli stand. We can't trust Kevin McCarthy to remember what meat goes on a baloney sandwich. We should not trust him with the legislative agenda of the strongest nation on Earth. Every chance McCarthy was given to demonstrate leadership resulted in failure and if the Insurrection Party takes control of the House of Representatives in 2022, We are doomed! If Kevin McCarthy becomes Speaker of the House, the insurrectionists will have won. We need to send Kevin McCarthy back to Bakersfield where he can be speaker of the deli.
If your concerns are public health, education, the economy, confronting our enemies, the safety of our children, etc., look into the eyes of Kevin McCarthy and you can almost hear him responding "do you want chips with that."
Help spread this message and messages like this - the same way the White Male Nationalist Party has tried to use Nancy Pelosi as their bogeywoman. Kevin McCarthy is an incompetent deli manager taking orders from insurrectionist traitors, not the American People.
NOTE: This is not a slight to deli managers. There are thousands of deli workers who are more capable than Kevin McCarthy.

The curious concern of red state creeps over crime in "Democrat-run cities" only brings to light the utter disaster conservative states are mired in. When it comes to statistics that determine quality of life, Republican states represent the bulk of the very bottom. The best way to fix this is to enlighten the Tom Cottons, Marsha Blackburns et al. just what terrible shape the states they represent are in, and the best use of their oversized pie holes is to look homeward and speak to the problems that make their districts a collective national embarrassment.

Walter Mondale Has Passed

Walter Mondale, who transformed the role of U.S. vice president while serving under Jimmy Carter and was the Democratic nominee for president in 1984, died Monday at 93, according to a family spokesperson.
Mondale spoke by phone on Sunday with President Biden and former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, as well as Vice President Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, said his friend and former campaign staffer Tom Cosgrove. While he and his family believed his death was imminent, after those calls he “perked up.”

'Promising Young Woman' + 'Borat' Emerge as Winners at 73rd WGA Awards

In a pre-taped, abbreviated ceremony representative of this atypical film and guilds awards season, the 2021 Writers Guild Awards were presented virtually March 21. The 73rd annual ceremony from the Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) highlighted the guild’s selections for the strongest film and television screenplays of the past year, locking another awards puzzle piece into place ahead of the Oscars.
Following up on her stellar showing of six nominations on the Academy Awards’ recently announced list, Emerald Fennell took home the WGA’s original film screenplay prize for Focus Features’ “Promising Young Woman.” The feminist revenge thriller starring Carey Mulligan has also been nominated at the Directors Guild Awards for Fennell’s direction and at the Screen Actors Guild Awards (where Fennell is also, incidentally, recognized for acting as part of the drama ensemble on “The Crown”).

It Might Be Too Late, But...
It would be great to hear prominent Dems like Jaime Harrison give a prebuttal to the 2020 election loser's appearance at the Florida klan rally on Sunday. With so much hype around the speech, few if any people are focusing on the important fact that whatever the future inmate has to say, it will be a reminder of how a majority of Americans find him repulsive. This fraud lost the election because he was incapable of speaking to the issues that face real Americans.
-His response to the COVID crisis was a complete failure.
-His concern through the economic catastrophe of 2020 was his own bottom line.
-He brought the U.S. trade deficit to an all-time high.
-He exploded the federal debt.
-He bankrupted American farmers
-He thought empathy was a sign of weakness.
-He lied with unmatchable fluency.
-He promoted debunked conspiracy theories.
-He refused a peaceful transition of power.
-He instigated the first attack on the U.S. Capitol since the War of 1812.
If a goal of the Democratic Party is to destroy "Trumpism," then let's take away his oxygen before he can even speak. Let's head him off at the pass, as they used to say in old Westerns. Let's make him irrelevant before we get to the point where we wished we had done more sooner. Chances are he will be the author of his own destruction, but let's not wait for that.
Incoming WTO head warns 'vaccine nationalism' could slow pandemic recovery

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The World Trade Organization’s incoming chief on Monday warned against “vaccine nationalism’ that would slow progress in ending the COVID-19 pandemic and could erode economic growth for all countries - rich and poor.
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala told Reuters her top priority was to ensure the WTO does more to address the pandemic, saying members should accelerate efforts to lift export restrictions slowing trade in needed medicines and supplies.
The former Nigerian finance minister and senior World Bank executive was appointed on Monday in a consensus process and starts her new job on March 1.
“The WTO can contribute so much more to helping stop the pandemic,” Okonjo-Iweala said in an interview at her home in a suburb of Washington.
