BaronChocula's JournalNative Americans react to Sen. Markwayne Mullin's DHS appointment
Many tribes are encouraged by Trump's choice of Sen. Markwayne Mullin, a member of the Cherokee nation, as the new DHS Secretary. ICE agents have been accused of racially profiling Native Americans.
CHUCK HOSKIN JR: He treats tribes with respect.
SIEGLER: Chuck Hoskin Jr. is chief of the Cherokee Nation and knows Mullin well from working with him in Congress, but also as a Cherokee citizen.
HOSKIN: I've had different roles in the government of the Cherokee Nation. He's had different roles in the Congress of the United States. And so over the years, we've developed a relationship, and I would call him a friend.

I'm not Cherokee, but I have my doubts. I'm betting Mullin would throw his Cherokee brethren in front of a bus to save Demento.
Video Emerges in Fatal ICE Shooting of US Citizen Ruben Ray Martinez
Source: Newsweek
Newsweek has obtained police body-worn camera footage, photos, and new statements that shed new light on the moments a U.S. citizen was fatally shot by a federal immigration agent in Texas almost one year ago.
Over 160 pieces of evidence tied to Ruben Ray Martinezs death by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent were released by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), following Newsweeks public records request for further documents on the 23-year-olds death in South Padre Island on March 15, 2025.
More bodycam footage from the South Padre Island Police Department (SPIPD) also captures the moments officers and agents tried to stop the vehicle the two men were in. An officer can be heard shouting, Stop him. Stop him, stop him, stop him. Get him out. Get him out. Get him out!
Stop the f***ing vehicle, one officer can be heard saying. Seconds later gun shots ring out.

It's never good for law enforcement when it takes a year to see bodycam footage.
What is Shield of the Americas? What We Know About Kristi Noem's New Role
Source: Newsweek
President Donald Trump said he is appointing Kristi Noem as his special envoy for the Shield of the Americas as he announced her removal as homeland security secretary. The White House says the initiative reflects Trumps effort to shift U.S. national security strategy toward the Western Hemisphere.
Trump is scheduled to meet Saturday with leaders from 11 Latin American countries at his golf club in Doral, Florida, for what the administration is calling a Shield summit. Leaders from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, and Trinidad and Tobago are expected to attend, according to the White House. The administration says the initiative would rely on U.S. military and intelligence capabilities to a degree not seen in the region since the end of the Cold War.

"Why didn't trump release the Epstein Files in his first term?"
I don't think fox has prepped the cult on how to answer that yet. They have been prepped to ask "why didn't Biden release the Epstein Files" though.
They may very well give the Hail Mary answer of "the Epstein Files didn't exist then" in which case you can in form them that indeed they did. And they can look it up. And leave it at that. It should let them know that you know they've been duped.

Under ordinary circumstances I would say this Danger Dunce is a lame duck, but he keeps getting passes. He either gets more credit than he deserves or people just become accustomed to his continual chaos which he can't seem to stop. There's always a threshold. I feel a little cheery that we're there or nearing it, but I don't wanna get my hopes up too high.
I actually hope he dies a long painful death, but I won't get greedy.
BREAKING: Trump Deploys National Guard to Supreme Court
Following a 6-3 ruling that struck down donald trump's scattershot tariff scheme, the aged Floridian announced a deployment of the National Guard to the Supreme Court.
"This once great court so great, it was has become a very unpatriotic and unloyal group. Very disappointing. Controlled by rhinos and left-wing Democrat lunatics who have trump derangement syndrome because they're jealous of trump because we're doing great things. Very great things. With the ballroom. And winning elections. Every election including 2020, um 20. We won. We won that. So we're going to take over the elections to ensure elections are fair. Very fair. We need fair elections. So the National Guard is going in. They're going in to straighten things out. Make it clean. Clean it up. That's what... Such great uniforms look so good. And I'm gonna march over there with them. Ready? OK"
The 34-count felon then closed his eyes and drooled a little.
US justice department sues Harvard over admissions records access
Source: The Guardian
The Department of Justice filed a new lawsuit against Harvard University, accusing it of failing to hand over documents and comply with a federal investigation into alleged racial discrimination in its admissions process, in the latest escalation of Donald Trumps long-running legal pursuit of the nations oldest university.
Since returning to office, Trump has repeatedly come after higher education institutions, including Harvard, accusing the university of mishandling antisemitism and allowing alleged civil rights violations on a campus he says is dominated by radical left ideologies a charge academics and free speech experts have denounced as a threat to academic freedom.
The Trump administration has also threatened to withhold $9bn in federal research funding, demanded that Harvard end its diversity, equity and inclusion programs, and required reporting of international students who violate campus rules. It also previously tried to block the university from enrolling international students.
In response, Harvard sued the administration in April last year, accusing it of trying to gain control of academic decision-making. At the time, Harvards president, Alan Garber, vowed that the university will not surrender its independence or relinquish its constitutional rights.
Garber, who is Jewish, also contested Trumps antisemitism charges, saying in a statement last April: As a Jew and as an American, I know very well that there are valid concerns about rising antisemitism. To address it effectively requires understanding, intention, and vigilance. Harvard takes that work seriously. We will continue to fight hate with the urgency it demands as we fully comply with our obligations under the law. That is not only our legal responsibility. It is our moral imperative.

I guess this explains the DOJ's delay in releasing the TRUMP EPSTEIN Files. Bizzy, bizzy, bizzy.
Blondi and her White American Woman Delusion
It shouldn't be lost on anyone where Pam "Blondi" Bondi gets her nerve. As large numbers of American flirt with moving on from some of America's more sinister traditions, Blondi is doubling down.
We're all familiar of a certain stereotype of white women who still think it to be a crime to be insulted by or not obliged by nonwhites. They typically want to talk to the manage or they speed dial the cops on their phone to report an ouch on their ego. They feel empowered to do this because they've always been protected by white men who are devoted to the preservation of white male privilege.
This has been a stubborn congenital flaw with which America continues to grapple. While the film "Birth of a Nation" actually celebrates this unquestioned sanctity of white women while demonizing black me, it's taken years for people to stop making excuses for its disgusting portrayals of race.
That's why we have people like Jenna Ryan, a January 6 Capitol terrorist who tweeted Definitely not going to jail. Sorry I have blonde hair white skin a great job a great future and Im not going to jail. Sorry to rain on your hater parade. I did nothing wrong. This was after shouting "hang Mike Pence" along with other infractions. Ryan went to prison before being pardoned by a white man devoted to preserving white privilege.
Then we have Blondi. Her old friends don't recognize her since she went from being perhaps a more decent person to the enclave of more subservient caucasian women. Blondi has apparently regressed to what she is today having put all her eggs in the basket of a brand of patriarchy that's not sustainable. She is giving unwavering cover to a reputed under-bus-thrower in the belief that her best bet is to stick by him as he goes sundowning in flames.
To her credit, it's not like there's an end in sight for the collapse of the overall power structure she has chosen. If and when her boss goes down, there may be some other white dude to protect her from the sullen mob. Or there might not be. Jenna Ryan did spend some time in prison before being rescued, but counter to her nervy proclamation, she did go to prison.
Watch your back Blondi.
Democratic governors to boycott White House dinner
Source: USA Today
WASHINGTON Democratic governors from across the country say they will boycott a White House dinner and meeting with President Donald Trump after he excluded two of their colleagues from a historically bipartisan annual gathering.
Their move comes after Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and Colorado Gov. Jared Polis were disinvited from a White House dinner with the National Governors Association, a nonpartisan group made up of all 50 state leaders set to gather in Washington from Feb. 19 to 21. Trump this year is also welcoming only Republicans to a separate White House meeting that has historically included all governors.
In a statement to USA TODAY, more than a dozen Democrats blasted Trump's decision, saying it is the most recent example of a turbulent administration
