Trump: Jamie Dimon doesn't have the smarts to be President

Source: CNN

The problem with banker Jamie Dimon running for President is that he doesn't have the aptitude or 'smarts' & is a poor public speaker & nervous mess - otherwise he is wonderful," Trump tweeted Thursday morning. "I've made a lot of bankers, and others, look much smarter than they are with my great economic policy!"

Trump was responding to comments Dimon made at an event at the bank's headquarters in New York where he said that he could beat Trump if he ran for president. Dimon later expressed remorse for the comments.

"I think I could beat Trump," Dimon, a Democrat, said Wednesday, according to a transcript posted by CNBC. "I can't beat the liberal side of the Democratic Party."

"I'm as tough as he is, I'm smarter than he is. I would be fine. He could punch me all he wants, it wouldn't work with me. I'd fight right back." Dimon added.

Maybe, just maybe this could qualify as one of the: "Top 10 Dumbest Statements Ever Made by Trump."

Hard to know, there have been just so many...

Proof that Trump is nuts..He is talking about his Puerto Rico hurricane response.

Only a delusional mentally ill person would bring up anything so horrific. Saying he did a great job, and then blaming the mayor for the deaths is sick. Why go back to something like that? And then, start the blame game all over again. What does that have to do with anything? Bringing that up today, under current circumstances, proves that he cannot focus on today's problems and needs to be removed as soon as possible

" The man doth protest too much, methinks" ("no collusion")

This was written a very long time ago. Written by William Shakespeare from Hamlet..but I am referring to Donald Trumps tweet today, "No collusion, no collusion," This was before any mention of what happened 17 years ago today, on September 11, 2001
______________________________________________________________________________________ _
"The lady doth protest too much, methinks" is a line from the c.?1600 play Hamlet by William Shakespeare, where it is spoken by Queen Gertrude in response to the insincere overacting of a character in the play within a play created by Prince Hamlet to prove his uncle's guilt in the murder of his father, the King of Denmark.[1][2]

The phrase is used in everyday speech to indicate doubt in someone's sincerity.

Today, before anything else was said, Trump tweeted, "No collusion...see this thread in latest news.

Trumps obsession with this one term, over and over and over and over and over..........proves he is obsessed with this idea of "no collusion." Why is this person obsessed with this idea? He has his own lawyers to prove the truth of an idea. There is an investigation going on that will focus light on this, and this is headed by someone who has a lifetime of investigations and respected by most in the "investigation community" (former head of FBI) Nevertheless.... Trump cannot stop tweeting this term.

Here is verification that Trump did indeed tweet this morning from NBC News

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-begins-solemn-9-11-anniversary-tweets-about-fbi-russia-n908401

I recall that line from Hamlet, "" The man doth protest too much, methinks"

.....A little boy has gotten into the refrigerator where there is a half gallon of chocolate ice cream. Also, there is a quart of chocolate syrup. These are his very favorite foods. His mom comes home and sees that the boy's face is full of chocolate as is his shirt. Also both the ice cream, and the syrup have been opened and are half gone. The little boy, age 6, say to his mother...."I didn't do anything. Honest mom, I didn't eat any ice cream or syrup" .
....Day after day he says the same thing when he sees his mom.."I didn't open the ice cream or eat the syrup. " "Honest Mom, it wasn't me."...over and over and over and over...What does mom think? What would anyone think? I have thought about it, and have an answer. The little boy, age 6, ate the chocolate ice cream and also the chocolate syrup .

... And with... Donald Trump....Yes, there was collusion...yes indeed, there was collusion. And because there was collusion, many in your crowd will....."go to jail, go directly to jail, do not pass GO and Do Not collect $200.00.......

If Republicans loose big in November, who does Trump blame?

He always blames someone else, so who will that be?.. Pelosi? Obama? Ryan? Pence? Jared? Trump Jr?
Ivanka? New York Times? Woodward? ..Who will that be? I haven't got a clue.

About the First Ammendment to the U.S. Constitution..It reads:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

_________________________________________________________________________________________

I took a class many years ago..yes many, in Constitutional History of U.S.A. and I recall the professor said, that that sentence is the strongest language there is. " .........no law.." means.. NO LAW... NONE, nada, zero, empty, 0.,non, “nyet”, nein, の, 没有 , לא

No law, means ...NO LAW. ,,,The professor said that the writers of that made it simple and easy to understand.....ON PURPOSE......., (no I don't know who wrote it).....or .....................................

....."..abridging the freedom of speech or of the press: or of the right of the people to peaceably assemble,, and petition the Government for a redress of grievances."..................now, the courts interpret the law..and interpretation of the word .......NO is not very hard, even for Trump or any of those idiots..
................ok...................again................."NO LAW, means NO LAW"............

so the Trump crowd can talk, and talk..but..if Trump acts to put in a law that .."..abridges the freedom of speech or of the press.."........that will be it...Trump will be gone...and gone very soon after that action...

Proof that Trump cannot shut up..

Trump said, "I fell asleep during Obama's speech"

https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2018/09/07/trump-obama-speech-response-north-dakota-sot-vpx.cnn

That is more than stupid. Totally unnecessary and insulting. Something that did not need to be said, but was said anyway. If Trump wanted to argue about a point Obama made, then argue. But that is not who Trump is. He insults and demeans. Trump is who he is, was, and will be. He just cannot shut up

Why Mueller will get Trump. Trump is simply a crook.

Mueller gets crooks. Mueller gets all kinds of crooks. He will get Trump and his crowd of crooks.

Why this is like Watergate ..

In Watergate I the news on illegal activities came out about lots of things.
..............not just the break in.
..............It was the "cover up"
..............It was the hearings..
..............It was the media digging up stuff.
..............It was the lies and arguments....back and forth..over and over..
..............It extensive nature and involvement of so many people..
..............It was amazing to watch and experience.
..............It was new crap coming out all the time on different subjects but related......................
...............to"the lying evil crooks.

In Watergate II..the news is on illegal activities about lots of different things.
..............It was not just Russian Collusion.
..............It was the "cover up"
..............There are hearings going on today..( live hearings where one can follow)
..............Media is still digging up stuff.
..............Lies and arguments back and forth...over and over..
..............Extensive nature and involvement of so many people ...(are more coming?)
..............Amazing to watch and experience.....like an never ending battle for "truth and justice"
..............It feels like new crap is coming out all of the time....HUGE DOCUMENT DROP at last minute???
..............different subjects, but related to....... "the lying evil crooks"

Is the show similar to Watergate I ..As someone who experienced Watergate I..and followed it extensively, Yes, it is like Watergate I.........therefore Watergate I and Watergate II are so similar and yet so different but the bottom line is..................."lying evil crooks" ............................
They are everywhere, but it is a new episode ...Same time, same station, so please tuned in tomorrow
in the never-ending story of Watergate II..Or "As Trump and the Crooks Turn and Turn"

About that document dump..84 reams of paper...and today is Thursday..

Dump was Monday evening...?? This is a hunch...no accurate info, none,

After the dump/drop...Monday............
..every available clerk or assistant of every Democrat in Congress was called in..to read that sh*t. If , just if...84 people were called in, and all night they read, (let's say they got more than 84 loyal Dems working in the offices) ...then some of it could have been read.. Not all, but some.. but lets say they got 184 Dems to read that crap....more could have been read...

Some of the material is being referenced today, Thursday.. How could that happen??..Not only clerks, but secretaries, and the freed up senators themselves read that) . If you got 184 readers..then maybe, most of it could have been read..think about that..

additional notes Senator Hirono has referenced this stuff this morning.
...................... Senator Patrick Leahy also has referenced this

Unusual but happy experience that happened yesterday..to me...

...Short story. yes this really happened to me. Yesterday I went to a local hardware store to get some work done. It was an electronic key thing that opens my car door. A light was flashing that said I needed to change the battery in the key thing. I tried to open up the key thing, but couldn't, so off to the local hardware. Not a big box store with huge parking lot, and a hundred employees, but a local store the kind that is disappearing. You remember, smelly, compact, with so much stuff and more stuff for sale --over hear and over there hanging from the walls etc..
...So, I find a fellow behind a counter, not the check out counter, just a counter, and explain the situation to him. He easily opens the thing, and takes a look at the battery. We go over to some shelves with lots of batteries, he picks out the correct one (actually 2 in a package) and says, "After you pay for it, I will install the battery. The package of 2 cost $8.50. (too high in my opinion) but that is OK,because this fellow is going to fix it now so I don't get locked out. (saves a trip to the dealer who would overcharge me)
...I watch him, it takes about 5 minutes, and then he explains to me how to do it so I can do it myself next time.
And then it happened.....This strange but happy event......
....When he was done installing the battery in the thing, and explaining how I could do it myself, there was a moment, and I had prepared for it. When I was paying for the batteries, I took out from the change, a ten dollar bill, and decided to offer it to the battery replacement expert..So, I offered the battery replacement guy the ten dollar bill as a gift for getting the key thing battery replaced. Something extra, because he brightened my day by saving me a trip to the dealer. A job well done at the local hardware store...............................
.......................................................................................................................................................

...He said, "I can't take that." I offered it again. And again he said, "I can't take that, I don't take those, we don't do that here."...I said, "Thank You for your service, I really appreciate what you did. He said, "You know this is not my first rodeo"..We laughed for a moment and I left..
.
.I left, totally flabergasted..And for a moment, I smiled and thought about it..I was happy about going to the local hardware store to get the battery replaced.. Happy for a reason I never expected.. And thankful for the experience. And on the way home, I decided to share that experience here..at Democratic Underground in the Lounge....NO, I didn't make this up..it happened yesterday............
