Rhode Island Democratic ESTABLISHMENT CHEATS For Hillary Clinton
In Rhode Island it appears there was an attempt by the powers that be to make sure that fewer people voted. Part of this is because almost everyone in the states Democratic party infrastructure is for Hillary Clinton, and polls were showing an advantage for Bernie Sanders. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, breaks it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
"The Rhode Island Board of Elections announced this week that two-thirds of the states polling places would remain closed for the upcoming primary as a costs savings measure.
According to WPRI, the Board of Elections plans to cut costs by opening only 144 of the states 419 polling places for the April 26 primary.*

Amy Goodman Reveals How the Media RUINS Elections
~snip~
Amy Goodman, host of Democracy Now!, said in a video for AJ+, I see the media as a huge kitchen table that stretches across the globe that we all sit around and debate the most important issues of the day. War and peace. Life and death. Goodman believes that Anything less than that is a disservice to a democratic society. How much does this disservice affect our decision-making, particularly when it comes to voting? It is critical in an election year to hear how policies affect people on the groundnot to get the pundits but to get the people themselves, Goodman said.
What else do all the major networks have in common? According to Goodman, Theyre bringing you the pundits who know so little about so much, explaining the world to us and getting it so wrong. In a nod to Noam Chomsky, Goodman added, The media manufactures consentfor war, for candidates in electionsby bringing you more, for example, of one person like Donald Trump. Trumps unfiltered pipeline into everyones brain is facilitated by the media, whose ratings have come to depend on it.
According to a report by the Tyndall Center in 2015, Donald Trump got 23 times the coverage of, say, Bernie Sanders. They found ABC World News Tonight did something like 81 minutes on Donald Trump and I think they gave Bernie Sanders 20 seconds, said Goodman. So why does Bernie Sanders get any coverage at all?
Unfortunately, bought media isn't just ads or segments, but entire channels.

Bernie Sanders is breaking every record. Its the only reason hes getting any coverage right now," Goodman said. "He is shaming the media. In March [Sanders] raised something like $44 million. Hillary Clinton raised $29-and-change million. $44 million. That hasnt been done before. You break every record and theres a blip in the corporate media radar screen. It just shows how astounding it would be if he got anything near the coverage of the other candidates. Could you imagine where [Sanders] would be right now?"

PRESS RELEASE
Sanders Statement on Primary Elections
APRIL 26TH, 2016
HUNTINGTON, W. Va. U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Tuesday issued the following statement:
I congratulate Secretary Clinton on her victories tonight, and I look forward to issue-oriented campaigns in the 14 contests to come.
I am proud that we were able to win a resounding victory tonight in Rhode Island, the one state with an open primary where independents had a say in the outcome. Democrats should recognize that the ticket with the best chance of winning this November must attract support from independents as well as Democrats. I am proud of my campaigns record in that regard.
The people in every state in this country should have the right to determine who they want as president and what the agenda of the Democratic Party should be. Thats why we are in this race until the last vote is cast. That is why this campaign is going to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia with as many delegates as possible to fight for a progressive party platform that calls for a $15 an hour minimum wage, an end to our disastrous trade policies, a Medicare-for-all health care system, breaking up Wall Street financial institutions, ending fracking in our country, making public colleges and universities tuition free and passing a carbon tax so we can effectively address the planetary crisis of climate change.

Seymour Hersh Weighs In on Sanders vs Clinton - SOMETHING AMAZING Is Happening in This Country
Legendary investigative journalist Seymour Hersh weighs in on the foreign policy positions of the 2016 presidential candidates. "For me to say who Im going to vote for and all that
Im not a political leader, thats not what Im into," Hersh says. "But I will say this: Something thats amazing is happening in this country, and for the first time, I do think its going to be very hard for a lot of the people who support Sanders to support Hillary Clinton.
Theres a whole group of young people in America, across the board, all races, etc., etc., who have just had it with our system."

People Who Live In Glass Houses: Hillary Clinton HAMMERS Trump’s Lavish Lifestyle. IN THE MEANTIME..
Is that Trump flying home, or Clinton heading off to give a speech? Hard to tell from this angle
"..I don't think Clinton's "anti-lavish lifestyle" attack will turn out the way it was meant to. I wonder if the voters will notice the discrepancy..."

Clinton knocks Trump's lavish lifestyle
Hillary Clinton cast Donald Trump as out of touch with the United States while campaigning Monday in Delaware, arguing that the Republican front-runner flies into states, gives speeches and then returns to the lap of luxury without listening to voters' problems. ...
"Don't just fly that big jet in and land it and go give a big speech and insult everybody you can think of and then get on the big jet and go back to your country club house in Florida or your penthouse in New York," Clinton said. "I somehow don't think that puts you in touch with what is going on."

Meanwhile, CNN Money reported that:
The standard fee [for Hillary Clinton's speeches] and her demands are outlined in a memo from the Harry Walker Agency in New York.
According to the memo, Clinton requires travel by private jet, and even specifies that she prefers a Gulfstream 450 or larger. Her staff requires first class and business class tickets. And two members of her staff require up to three days on site to prepare, with all local transportation and meals included.
The memo states Clinton should be booked into a presidential suite with up to three separate rooms attached.
Clinton also requires a flat fee of $1,000 to pay for an onsite stenographer to record everything she says. However, Clinton is not required to provide the host with a copy, according to the memo.
Costs associated with her demands are on top of her speaking fee.

According to the latest George Washington (GW) University Battleground Poll, Clinton's lead over Trump has shrunk to 3 percentage points, with her besting the billionaire developer by just 46 to 43 percent nationally. What's more, the poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. The RealClearPolitics average has the former secretary of state with a slightly higher lead (8.5 percent) over Trump. Meanwhile, Sanders continues to trounce Trump by double digits: 51 to 40 percent in the GW poll, and 53 to 37.8 percent, according to RealClearPolitics. Sanders' overall electability has dogged Clinton, the presumptive nominee, throughout the primary. Time after time, national polls have showed Sanders beating Trump by a larger margin than Clinton. In an interview with NBC News late last week, the Vermont senator spoke to this trend.
The GW poll on Monday also found that Sanders and Republican candidate John Kasich are the only major party candidates who still are viewed favorably by the majority of the American public, holding respective "unfavorability" ratings of 44 and 29 percent. The survey shows that "the other threeformer Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (56 percent), Texas Senator Ted Cruz (55 percent) and businessman Donald Trump (65 percent)are all mostly disliked."

Many moons ago, David Brock, now the head of a Hillary Clinton Super PAC, used every resource available to ruin the life of Anita Hill and anyone who supported her. He would lie, cheat, and blatantly misrepresent facts if it meant getting Clarence Thomas through the Supreme Court nomination process. Brock openly admitted it. Now, it appears Brock, who is no doubt great at what he does, is using his same old tools, but for a new cause in a new technological era. As head of the Correct The Record Super PAC for Hillary Clinton, David Brock has launched something called Barrier Breakers an online mob of paid trolls designed to attack any and every person who says one cross word about Hillary Clinton on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, or elsewhere. This isn't a conspiracy theory. They openly spin their strategy on the Correct The Record website and state that they are putting over $1 million behind their efforts. As you likely know, Super PACs are allowed to raise and spend unlimited money on these types of efforts.
What's ugly is that we have no idea who these paid operatives are online. According to Correct The Record, many will be former reporters, PR executives, bloggers, and others. We have no idea if they truly say what they mean or mean what they say. Are they even using their actual identities? The Sanders campaign openly stated that they have never paid for any online comments. All of this comes after the revelation from POLITICO that "NBCUniversal, News Corporation, Turner Broadcasting and Thomson Reuters are among more than a dozen media organizations that have made charitable contributions to the Clinton Foundation in recent years, the foundation's records show. The donations range from the low-thousands to the millions."
In fact, people from the television industry have given the Hillary Clinton campaign over $9 million so far. David Cohen, head of Regulatory Affairs for Comcast has already hosted a private fundraiser for Hillary Clinton in which people who donated at least $50,000 got to attend a private reception with her. All of this, of course, muddies the waters to the point of us not being quite clear who's a crony, who's a donor, or who's a staffer for the Clinton campaign. So much money is exchanging hands that it is impossible to tell who's been bought and sold.
