2008 Hillary Clinton REFUSES To Concede The Nomination
Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton Tuesday refused to bow out of the Democratic race Tuesday, hoping to maintain leverage as Barack Obama clinched the delegates needed to secure the party's nomination. Clinton told supporters in a rally at Baruch College that she would consult party leaders in coming days on how to move forward, but that, "I will be making no decisions tonight."
"A lot of people are asking, 'What does Hillary want?'" Clinton said. "I want what I have always fought for: I want the nearly 18 million people who voted for me to be respected and heard."
-snip
Advisers indicated earlier Tuesday that the former first lady would publicly acknowledge in her speech that Obama had crossed the delegate threshold. But she changed her mind and refused to do so even after NBC News and The Associated Press declared the Illinois senator had sealed the nomination.
Her advisers said they considered the delegate numbers to be unreliable, even as the AP estimated Obama had several more than the 2,118 needed to nominate. Earlier, Clinton acknowledged on a conference call with New York lawmakers that the delegate math was not there for her to overtake Obama, according to several participants on the call. I am so proud we stayed the course together, she said to cheers. I am committed to uniting our party so we move forward stronger and more ready than ever to take back the White House this November.
But she emphasized that she had won more votes in primaries and caucuses than Obama, and she refused to say she was ending her campaign.
Aides said that was a strategic decision to preserve her leverage to negotiate over policy disagreements and the possibility that she would join Obamas ticket as the vice presidential nominee.

PRESS RELEASE
Sanders Campaign Statement on Puerto Rico Polling Places
JUNE 5TH, 2016
SAN DIEGO U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders campaign issued the following statement Sunday on long lines at polling places in Puerto Ricos Democratic Party presidential primary election:
Some Puerto Rico Democratic officials are claiming that the Sanders campaign requested fewer polling places in todays primary contest. Thats completely false. The opposite is true. In emails with the party, Sanders staff asked the party to maintain the 1,500 plus presidential primary locations promised by the Puerto Rico Democratic party in testimony before the DNC in April, when the party was asking to have its caucus changed to a primary. They cannot blame their shoddy running of the primary on our campaign. This is just one example of irregularities going on in Puerto Rico voting today. We are the campaign that has been fighting to increase voter participation.

There is a new book that is already a No. 1 best-selling book on Amazon prior to the book even being released. Titled Crisis of Character: A White House Secret Service Officer Discloses His Firsthand Experience with Hillary, Bill, and How They Operate, the book written by Gary J. Byrne is gaining big buzz. Because of Garys close proximity to the Clintons during some of their most volatile days in the White House, Byrnes testimony of his experiences with Bill and Hillary are being closely followed.
Over a twenty-nine-year career serving my country in the military and in federal law enforcement, Ive encountered both heroes and villains. Ive observed human character at its greatest heights and lowest depths. In any organization, character is defined at the top; it percolates down to the top executives of an organization, to the middle managers, and to the grunts at the front lines. Hillary Clinton is now poised to become the Democratic nominee for president of the United States, but she simply lacks the integrity and temperament to serve in the office. From the bottom of my soul I know this to be true.
Gary writes that the Clintons were more interested in doing away with forthcoming books and articles that painted them in a negative light than in performing their real business duties of running the country. With harrowing accusations included in Byrnes book, it is one that the Clintons likely dont look forward to being released on June 28.
The First Couple wasted days obsessing over how to kill a forthcoming book (one alleging that Bill Clintons mother ran a brothel) or in squashing yet another tabloid revelation. Their machinations and their constant damage control diverted them from the nations real business.
Byrne wrote that he has no animosity towards Bill and Hillary. Gary even claimed that his sense of loyalty ran so deep for the Clintons that he got rid of evidence that could have been used to convict President Clinton during his adulterous days with Monica Lewinsky. As reported by the Daily Mail, Byrne revealed that he was uncomfortable with Monicas level of access to the West Wing in the White House during the evening hours when she should not have been there.
The blue dress wasnt the only evidence of his misdeeds.
Now retired from public service, Byrne is no longer holding all the deep secrets he kept for the former First Family close to the bone. They were secrets that, as Gary wrote, sent him home to his own wife, Genny, to give her deep hugs and profess how happy he was that they werent like the Clintons.

Secret Service Agent Gary J. Byrne: Hillary Clinton Gave Bill Clinton A BLACK EYE

Stephanopoulos GRILLS Hillary Clinton: Do You ACCEPT Report That ‘YOU BROKE State Department Rules’
Who me?....I'm innocent.....I play by the rules just like this primary.....
George Stephanopoulos confronted Hillary Clinton this morning over whether she accepts the State Department IG reports conclusion that her private email use was not allowed [and] that you broke State Department rules.
Clinton insisted that the report vindicates her, the rules werent clarified until after she left, and she has already said it was a mistake.
Stephanopoulos challenged her on the idea that she wasnt unique in using email this way, because Colin Powell (for one) didnt have a private server. He asked if she really doesnt just accept the conclusions of the report.
Clinton said that people around the government knew what she was doing.

Addressing concerns that the media may preemptively announce his rival Hillary Clinton as the "presumptive Democratic Party nominee" even before she has won the requisite numbers of pledge delegates, Bernie Sanders over the weekend indicated that such reporting would be both wrong and irresponsible and held to his commitment to take his campaign all the way to the national convention when so-called superdelegates will finallyand for the first time, in factbe able to cast their vote for who they believe will make the best nominee. Six states are holding Democratic primaries this Tuesday, including California, New Mexico, New Jersey, Montana, South Dakota, and North Dakota. Amid some speculation, bolstered by overt comments by people like MSNBC's Chris Matthews, that cable outlets or other news agencies would call the election in favor of Clinton before all the results of next Tuesday's results are in, Sander reiterated his argument that even though he has a steep hill to climb, the race is much closer than often reported.
-snip-
As of Saturday afternoon, according to Associated Press figures, Sanders trailed Clinton in pledged delegates by a tally of 1,769 to 1,501 a difference of 268 votes. Meanwhile, among the superdelegateselected and party officials who automatically attend the convention where they vote for the candidate of their choiceClinton has the stated support of 547 of them, compared to 46 who at this point say they back Sanders. Importantly, however, none of these superdelegates have actually "voted" and they can change their mind at any point until they cast their ballot at the convention. And so while the real difference between the candidates is less than 300 delegates, the media often continue to report that difference as more than twice times that. As of this writing on Sunday morning, for example, anyone going to MSNBC's "delegate tracker" on their website would see this:
Screenshot of MSNBC's "Delegate Tracker" on Sunday, June 5th. Instead of showing the real difference of 268, this tally shows the difference as 778. Such sloppy and misleading reportingwhich has been ongoing, despite criticism, for months and monthsgives the impression to uninformed voters that it's objectively true when outlets declare Clinton needs "about 60 more delegates" to clinch the nomination. The problem? It's not true. In reality, Clinton needs 614 delegates to get to that magic 2,383 number. And as Sanders campaign has been arguing, she is unlikely to get that even if she wins New Jersey or other stats on Tuesday. Expressing disgust with how the delegate count has been reported throughout the primary season, political observer and columnist Seth Abramson recently wrote:

Ahead of California, Bernie Sanders WARNS MEDIA Against Preemptive CORONATION of Hillary Clinton
"..For the record, and as Sanders also argued on Saturday, "Anyone who 'calls the election' on June 7th, be it the Clinton campaign or television networks, is knowingly and deliberately going against the very rules of the party..." -- Shaun King

"It is extremely unlikely that Secretary Clinton will have the requisite number of pledged delegates to claim victory on Tuesday night," Sanders said at a press conference in California on Saturday. "Now I have heard reports that Secretary Clinton has said its all going to be over on Tuesday night. I have reports that the media, after the New Jersey results come in, are going to declare that it is all over. That simply is not accurate."

"..While not rigged, there is no question that the Democratic Partys primary process which uses superdelegates to create an appearance of pre-election electoral inevitability and closed primaries and onerous registration requirements to exclude many new, independent, and party-switching voters has dramatically favored Mrs. Clinton, just as the mainstream media, while not engaged in a massive conspiracy, has without question done all it can to aid Mrs. Clinton and hinder Mr. Sanders (as to airtime, coverage, reporting of superdelegate tallies contrary to explicit DNC instructions, and much more); and now, having failed to stop Sanders via either a lack of media coverage or the superdelegate process, a host of arguments against the Senator are now being marshaled by Party and media forces, not a single one of which is novel, and all of which are familiar strategies for decimating grassroots movements before they have an opportunity to threaten entrenched power..."

Bill Maher Explains SOCIALISM To Republicans
Since this years election features both a socialist and a bonafide capitalist pig, someone needs to explain to the free market solves everything crowd that when it comes to socialism, youre soaking in it, Maher says at the beginning of the segment.
Someone needs to explain to the free-market crowd that when it comes to socialism, youre soaking in it. So many Americans hate the word socialism but love the concept: Medicare, unemployment, disability, farm subsidies. Forget the transgender debate. What America really needs is a separate bathroom for welfare queens.
