Melissa Harris-Perry's Letter to Jon Husted on His Voter Suppression in Ohio

Ohio Secretary of State, Jon Husted...well, he appears to be a Rove minion. I do not want Ohio voters to ever forget his shenanigans. I don't want America to forget either.

It's her letter to Jon...

Now the world knows what he did to suppress the Ohio vote for minorities and all Ohioans. I can't wait to get a video clip to post it here.

OMG it's perfect...it is the truth.

If anyone gets the video...please share. It's a keeper.

Judge Demands Ohio Provisional Ballot Answers from Husted's Office

http://www.wcpo.com/dpp/news/state/Judge-demands-Ohio-provisional-ballot-answers-from-Husteds-office

By: ANDREW WELSH-HUGGINS , Associated Press

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A federal judge on Wednesday angrily demanded that attorneys for Ohio's elections chief name the author of an election-eve order that placed the responsibility of explaining what kind of identification voters use on provisional ballots on the voters themselves.

U.S. District Court Judge Algenon Marbley's voice rose nearly to a shout at times as he asked attorneys what research the Ohio Secretary of State's office had done before issuing Friday's after-hours order.
"You have a lot of explaining to do," Marbley told assistant Ohio attorney general Aaron Epstein at a hearing in Columbus the morning after the election. A few minutes later, he demanded that Epstein and other state attorneys explain the rationale behind the order.

"Show me the facts that the secretary used to make the decision to change this directive at 7 o'clock on a Friday night on the eve of an election," Marbley said. "I want to see it, and I want to see it now."
After a short break, Epstein told Marbley the drafting of the order was a collaborative effort by several members of the Secretary of State's Office.

At issue is an order released by Secretary of State Jon Husted that requires voters to check a box explaining what ID they can offer if they weren't able to provide the last four digits of their Social Security number or their Ohio driver's license number.

Obama-Biden begins final push for Ohio vote at Dayton Rally

I had the pleasure of attending.

DAYTON — President Barack Obama went on the attack against challenger Mitt Romney on Tuesday, stirring up a Triangle Park crowd of 9,500 and trying to create a surge of momentum to carry him from Monday night’s final debate through the final two weeks of the presidential campaign.

Obama was making both his first Dayton campaign appearance and his first Ohio appearance with Vice President Joe Biden this year Tuesday. But it was part of an onslaught of Ohio visits from both sides, as political analysts continue to identify Ohio as perhaps the most important of 10 swing states that will decide the election.
....

Obama drew his biggest cheers at Triangle Park when he said his Republican opponent suffers from a condition called “Romnesia.”

“If you’ve come down with a case of Romnesia – if you can’t seem to remember the positions that you’ve taken not just four years ago but four days ago, if you don’t remember the positions that are on your website … you don’t have to worry, because Obamacare covers preexisting conditions. We can fix you up!” Obama said.

YIPPEE! I got 2 extra Tickets for the Obama-Biden Rally on Tuesday.

I had to stand in line from 11am to 2:30 pm....Only ONE ticket per person.....This is important information which was not identified with the Rally Announcement. ( see information with link below)

I was standing alone in line this chilly fall day; frustrated that my coworkers would not be able to attend the Rally as they could not get off work today to stand in line; I'm off today, so logically I had volunteered to pick up the tickets .....made sense to us at the time. Totally unaware of the ticket rules....nothing identifed by the Obama Campaign announcement.

Then, about 1 pm, a old acquaintance accompanied by his friend walked by..we started to chat. He then shares he was not able to attend the Rally....but offered to stand in line to get a ticket for my coworker. His friend offered to do the same.....What a fine friend...a great gift. Now I can attend the Rally with my friends.

Will there be a DVD of the Democratic Convention 2012 coming out?

I must say...that was a fabulous Convention. I would cherish a DVD if someone produced one for sale. It would be a keeper. Anyone know if one has been developed?

" Ohio Democrats sue Husted over early voting flap"

Republican GOP removed Dems from election board
Updated: Monday, 10 Sep 2012, 2:46 PM EDT
Published : Monday, 10 Sep 2012, 11:39 AM EDT

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Montgomery County Democratic duo fired from their seats on the county Board of Elections by Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted filed a lawsuit in Federal court Monday seeking to be reinstated to their jobs on the BOE.

The suit filed Monday also asks a judge to delay a previously scheduled hearing to appoint replacement Democrats on the board.

The lawsuit argues the Democrats did not violate Husted’s directive by voting to add additional hours to early voting in Montgomery County.

Dennis A. Lieberman and Thomas R. Ritchie, Sr., were dismissed from their positions on the board on Aug. 28 following what Husted described as their refusal to carry out his directive.
