How VP Harris appears to me
As a Buddhist, Kamala has frequently impressed me with her humor, happiness, and sheer joy, which is not to diminish her seriousness of purpose by any means.
One of the 6 perfections of a Boddhisattva is joyous endeavor, sometimes called enthusiastic perseverance. That's what she shows me, joyous endeavor. I find her quite inspiring. Thank-you Madame VP.
We own the culture
Interesting comments by Joy Reid tonight that the RW hates us not for our politics, but because we own the culture. We have the A-list hollywood actors, the A-list pop culture singers, country singers, multi-cultural support, ex-presidents, we simply own the culture, and the RWers are so so envious.
I always said that in the end Trump would walk out peaceably, rather than dragged out in handcuffs
or a straight jacket. Actually I said he would slink out, but I never imagined that he would go out in such horrible and astonishing disgrace. A criminal thru and thru. A traitor. A murderer of 400K Americans. A kidnapper, who can't reunite 600 kids with their families, because he didn't care enough to write down the names and locations of their parents. It's really rather astonishing. How he can bear to live with such shame and infamy is beyond my understanding.

What did they think would actually happen?
What did they think would be the actual outcome? OK so some of them would get in the Capitol and murder and take people hostage. But did they think that they would succeed in making Trump dictator for life, and black people would simply go back and pick cotton as share croppers? This is a rhetorical question. But it just baffles me that they are so deluded that they thought they could actually cause a successful coup. Yes Trump's civilian leaders in the pentagon might hem and haw and do nothing, but the army would not tolerate a coup.
They are anarchists.
Let's be clear. It's not just that they don't want Biden's government. They don't want ANY government. They want to do as they please and get away scot-free without any consequences.
Literally shitting in the US capitol, stepping in it and tracking it through the halls has convinced me of that.

Something that I noticed about her, and that I find very compelling is her sense of happiness and joy, and just downright good humor. I so appreciate the joy that she exudes. One of the 6 perfections of a Boddhisattva is joyous endeavor. That's how she appears to me.
