Culture Warrior Ron DeSantis Announces Investigation Into Christmas Drag Show - Ring of Fire

The DeSantis administration in Florida has launched an investigation into a Christmas drag show that took place in the state, alleging that there was sexually-suggestive material in the show. Not only is that NOT a crime, but the show itself was off-limits to anyone under the age of 18, unless accompanied by their parents (who were repeatedly warned of the sexual nature of the show.) This is just more culture war BS from the governor that could wind up in tragedy, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

The DeSantis administration down here in the state of Florida announced this week that they were launching an investigation into a Christmas drag show that took place on Monday, December 26th of this week. The drag show, which took place at the uh, Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, was billed as an adult event. If you were under the age of 18, you could not buy tickets for it. Now, they did admit people under the age of 18 if they were accompanied by their parents. The parents made the decision, I'm okay with my kids going here. They were warned when they bought their tickets. Hey, there's some sexually suggestive material here. Not appropriate for the kids, but if you want to bring them, that is up to you, right? Letting parents choose. Isn't that the Republicans whole thing here in Florida? Let the parents choose what's best for the kids.

And these parents said, I'm okay with this. And then of course, they proceeded to complain to the state when there was sexually suggestive material, which they had been warned about when they purchased the ticket. So now you have the, uh, Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation investigating this event that, again, was not designed for children and threatening the venue saying, if we find out something gross happened there, we're gonna take away your liquor license. We may even take away your ability to run a business here in the state of Florida, because oh my God, kids were at a drag show.

Now, as far as we can tell, there may have been sexually suggestive content, but there was no nudity, there was no forcing of sexuality of any kind onto anyone in that audience. That's not what happened. There was sexually suggestive material, oh God, go turn on A, B, C N B C, cbs b s or Fox, the actual regular entertainment networks on any given night. And guess what? You're gonna see that they have the little disclaimers in front of shows like, Hey, this may not be appropriate for children. You see it in R-rated movies that are aired on the, uh, cable TV and, and nobody bats an eye. But this event where they said, Hey, this thing is here, this sexually suggestive content don't bring your kids. Then people brought their kids, then they get about it. That's on the parents. But this investigation, this announcing it and publicizing that we're going after these people, especially after what happened in Colorado Springs. This could get people killed. This could cause another deranged

Lunatic filled with hate, fueled by Republican talking points. This could cause somebody else to go out there and kill. So far this year, there have been no fewer than 124 drag performances that have been targeted by direct threats in 2022. And 100% of that is because of the attacks from right wingers. If you think, if you think drag is sexualized, it's because you are sexualizing it. I've been to drag performances. Some of them are more sexual than others. Sometimes they do get crude and profane because that's part of the act. But it's an act. It's a performer up on stage. They're not doing it for your pleasure, if you know what I mean.

RNC Chair Says Hunter Biden's Laptop Most Important Issue For Republican Congress - Ring of Fire

According to embattled RNC chair Ronna McDaniel, the most important issue for the incoming Republican Congress will be getting answers about Hunter Biden's laptop. Republicans ranted about inflation, gas prices, the border, China, supply chain shortages, and education during their campaigns this year, but Ronna is making it clear that there is no bigger threat to America than Hunter Biden's laptop. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

R N C Chair, Ron McDaniel appeared on Fox News this week where she was asked the big question. And the big question of course, is what's the big question Republicans want to answer when they take back the house next year? And without hesitation, Ron McDaniel told us that the big issue, the big question that they're gonna answer is what's on Hunter Biden's laptop. So take a look. Here's Ronald McDaniel telling us about the only thing apparently in the world that matters to Republicans. Here she is,

42.

Uh, you know, you talked about, uh, some of the things just getting answers for questions that have been unanswered for, for two years now. What do you think the most important question is that Republicans should get to the bottom of, uh, when they get there?

Well, we have to govern. We have to do things on behalf of the American people. But I do think we have to look at big tech and the suppression of the Hudder Biden laptop and real information that was prevented from getting to the voters because of big tech and the Biden administration and Democrats colluding together,

Not inflation, not, uh, Americans unable to afford their prescription drugs, not foreign policy, not even immigration. You know, I mean, Republicans ran on all of those things except for the prescription drug part. Uh, Americans can't afford groceries. Y'all talked about that. You talked about the supply chain issues in the midterms, and suddenly you win and you're like, no, no, no, we're not doing any of that. It's strictly Hunter Biden, all Hunter Biden all the time is basically what the Republican Party is telling us here, because that's what Ronald McDaniel just said. She just said it. She also proved how stupid she is. Did you catch the part where she talked about the Biden administration colluding with big tech to steal the election in 2020? The Biden administration, the Biden administration, wasn't a thing that existed in the timeframe that she is talking about. So I don't know if she is stupid or if she's just trying to think, Hey, I know Republican voters are pretty stupid.

They're not gonna know the difference. I don't know which one it is, but either she is stupid or she thinks all Republicans are stupid, because Biden was not president when all of this alleged interference took place from the government into Twitter. That was actually Donald Trump. He was the one who was running the show. But y'all, y'all can't say that because then of course it makes you look bad. Not to mention the fact that the Twitter files have actually made it pretty obvious that the federal government wasn't actually censoring any speech. They, they didn't have the authority to do that. Sure. They sent some things to Twitter and said, does this violate your own terms of service? Yeah, they did that, but they didn't say, you have to shut this account down. They didn't say, you have to delete this. Those aren't things that happened. But either way, Ron and McDaniels sitting there making those accusations and of course telling us that we don't care about the plight of average Americans.

We don't care that people are being priced out of the housing market. We don't care that you're having to choose each month between buying groceries and buying prescription drugs. No, none of that matters. All that matters is what's on the President's son's laptop that is currently already being investigated by the fbi. So God only knows why we also need the house to do it. But go ahead, Ronna, investigate it. Regardless of the outcome, it's not gonna change our lives.

Trump Hints At Third Party Run If Republicans Don't Let Him Become Nominee - Ring of FIre

On Truth Social this week, Donald Trump shared an article that suggested Trump could teach the Republican Party a lesson by running as a third party candidate in 2024, which basically guarantee a Democrat wins that election. The author of the piece seems to think that Republicans deserve to be punished if they don't pick Trump in the primary, and the sharing of this article is a strong indication that Trump could burn it all down if he doesn't get his way. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Donald Trump gave a pretty clear indication this week that should he not be anointed the 2024 nominee by the Republican Party, he might consider running as a third party candidate instead. And this indication, of course, came from an article that Donald Trump shared from the publication called American Greatness. You know, that, that well renowned established publication called American Greatness, uh, by author Dan Lerner Galer, where Lerner basically explained how in the early 19 hundreds, president Teddy Roosevelt, uh, did not run as an, uh, Republican, instead ran as an independent, which split the Republican vote, handed the presidency to the Democrats. And he suggested that maybe Trump should do the same thing, not because Trump would win as a third party candidate. Gaertner actually makes it clear if Trump did that, the Democrats would win, but maybe Republicans would deserve to have that loss. Maybe you would teach him a lesson, right?

Just like Teddy Roosevelt taught him a lesson in the early 19 hundreds. Well, here's the thing. Donald Trump is not what he once was, at least not within the Republican party. You know, the six years since he first was elected have changed, right? Things have changed. We, we've had Covid that he completely mishandled. We had the Capitol Riot. We have had the multiple different investigations into potentially criminal activity, allegedly committed by Donald Trump that are still ongoing. But Mr. Lerner's adamant, if the Republican Party doesn't have room for Trump, then by God it doesn't have room for him. Here's what he wrote, I have no intention of supporting a Republican party that manifestly contravenes the desire of its voters. The R N C can pretend Trump isn't loved by the base anymore, that he doesn't have packed rallies everywhere. He goes, but I'm not buying it. Talk to Republican voters anywhere outside the beltway.

And it is obvious that he is admired and even loved by those who consider themselves ordinary Americans. If the Republican Party thinks it's not big enough for Trump, it's not going to be big enough for me either, to, which I'm sure the Republican party's gonna respond, eh, who? Who cares? Who are you, by the way, Dan Lerner. I'm sure the Republican Party isn't going to miss you, but maybe you're the one that, uh, might want to step outside the beltway a little bit. I don't know where you're from, but clearly you're not from anywhere where real average middle Americans live. Because poll after poll, interview after interview focus group after focus group shows that a majority of people in this country, a majority of them, are

Tired of Trump. A majority of them want to see him arrested. And you're gonna sit there and act like Donald Trump is beloved by everybody. No, he's not. You're an idiot. Take off your partisan blinders for a minute and look at the reality of this. There are Republicans who are surging in the polls. Ron DeSantis is pretty much the one, but he's taking Trump's supporters with him. Maybe if you stopped acting like a cult, you might be able to see the reality all around you, which is of course, that voters have rejected Trump. Voters are rejecting Trumpism, they're rejecting what he stands for. It happened in the last, uh, uh, midterms here.

Discussing the founder of the Wagner Group - Eastern Express - TVP World

When reports of Russia’s losses in Ukraine had circulated in September, there was only one person from those close to Vladimir Putin, the country’s strongman, who shared his doubts on the Kremlin’s management of the war. That person was the founder of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin. To shed more light on this figure, we were joined by Milan Lelić, Political Observer for the RBC News Agency.
