my reevaluation of Snowden

Apparently the NSA has had a policy of sucking up all data on everyone everywhere. I find the tapping of the German Chancellor 's phone to be unacceptable and their apparent policy of collecting any and all electronic communications signals to be downright wrong and stupid.

If Snowden did not, as he claims, take secret US Intel to China and Russia then he isn't the traitor I have called him. However his interview in China did cross a line that I find unacceptable.

Buy it would seem the NSA has gone rogue and I commend the president for seemingly being in the process of tightening their leash

Do not construe this as my endorsement of the sickening anti- Obama crowd here. I think he is a great president still dealing wit cheney's mess.

he is moving rhe roman church toward

Christ's one commandment. Faster than i would have ever imagined a Roman Bishop in my lifetime. I am an Episcopalian. We bless same sex unions. We are basically catholic liturgically but quite protestant (in a very liberal way) theologically. This Bishop's words and actions are very intriguing to us because they signal a possible (I pray) a full communion of holy sacraments between our churches. To outsiders they may seem only words. But words from the Bishop of Rome are important and encouraging when they focus on social justice and turn the roman church's focus away from unChrist-like homophobia.

Wendy Davis forced to sign afidavit to cast early vote.

Her driver's license includes her maiden name and therefore didn' t exactly match her voter registration. Fucking. Bullshit!

Anyone have any experience with it? Deep frownlines are not helpful when teaching young children because looking angry when you arent doesnt put certain kids at ease.

Edited to say I did it. It should take four days for results. Hurt way less than my tattoos.

I also got some filler in the "parenthes" around my mouth. That already looks better.

ACA website problems and unintended consequences

Do the GOPers not realize that by complaining that it is hard for people to enroll (for now) they are reframing their message from "it will kill your granny" to "it should be easier for you to get this thing"?

BTW I think extending the enrollment period because of the initial tech glitches is a good idea.

Koch Brothers

The greatest threats to the American worker
in our time. Their goal is to destroy the social safety net for the working poor and eliminate opportunities for social mobility for the middle class.

They are reactionary malefactors of great wealth and must be made political poison and untouchables even (especially) to Wall Street money types whose interests endanger.
