Not sure I like the idea of turning Pocahontas into a warrior--but, hey.. this toon grows on me.

JUST IN: Reuters Releases New National Poll, Numbers Show BIG New Lead (DETAILS)

By Elisabeth Parker -

The latest Ipsos/Reuters poll brings more good news for Hillary Clinton with a solid six-point lead over Donald Trump. This national tracking poll shows likely voters preferring Clinton over Trump 44 percent to 38 percent.

Even a four-way match-up nibbled only slightly into Clinton’s lead: She won 42 percent to Trump’s 38 percent, with 7 percent for Libertarian Party’s Gary Johnson and 2 percent for the Green Party’s Jill Stein. And as the graphics from the tweet below show, Hillary’s lead gets even better with likely voters polled who are actually registered.

LV's:
Clinton 42 (+4)
Trump 38
Johnson 7
Stein 2

RV's:
Clinton 42 (+7)
Trump 35
Johnson 8
Stein 4

This is a big improvement over last week’s dismal Ipsos/Reuters national tracking poll from Sept. 22....................

BREAKING: Trump Lawsuit Leaked Showing Women Fired For Being ‘Unattractive’ (DETAILS)

By Shanae Ewing -

There has been an issue being brought up lately concerning Donald Trump’s sexist ways in the past. There was a Super PAC ad showing women reading disparaging quotes Trump has actually said. Hillary Clinton released an attack ad and even brought up how horrible he was to former Miss Universe Alicia Machado during the presidential debate.

Now added to the list is a lawsuit filed by former employees at one of Trump’s golf courses. Included in the suit are statements that Trump wanted women fired for being unattractive and replaced with better looking women.

Not that anything was wrong with their work performance, he just didn’t want them there because they didn’t look good enough for him.

One of the employees was Haley Strozier, a former catering director at the golf course. In her declaration, she claimed she was ordered to fire women specifically because Trump didn’t find them attractive. One colleague Strozier claimed was “highly competent and professional” was order by the Vice President of the company to be fired because she was overweight. She said in her statement:

‘At some point in approximately 2003, Vincent Stellio — a vice president of our company — instructed me to fire Ms ***. Mr Stellio told me that I should do this because “Mr. Trump doesn’t like fat people” and he would not like seeing Ms *** when he was on the premises.’

He’s beauty, he’s grace, he’s … well, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Donald Trump was imagined as a voluptuous beauty queen in an illustration on The New Yorker’s latest cover, a response to his fat-shaming remarks about former Miss Universe Alicia Machado.

PHOTOS: Donald Trump's Most Offensive and Outrageous Quotes

In the image, a cartoon version of the business mogul turned politician, 70, is seen strutting his stuff down a catwalk in a baby blue bodysuit with a tiara sitting atop his signature comb-over. He is holding a bouquet of red roses and, ironically, is wearing a “Miss Congeniality” sash — a title normally reserved for pageant contestants who convey an amiable demeanor.

Barry Blitt — the prolific artist who is responsible for some of The New Yorker’s most iconic covers — told the publication that he was inspired to create the drawing after watching the Republican presidential nominee spar against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton during the first presidential debate on Monday, September 26. Of all Trump’s controversial attributes, Blitt, 58, said, his misogyny “might just be his Achilles’ heel.”.....................

.......................Aside from deceiving Cuban-Americans, records of the 1998 initiatives show that Trump lied to voters about his efforts in Florida during that period. At the second Republican presidential debate in September 2015, one of Trump’s rivals, Jeb Bush, said the billionaire had tried to buy him off with favors and contributions when he was Florida’s governor in an effort to legalize casino gambling in the state. “Totally false,’’ Trump responded. “I would have gotten it.”..........................

Marco Rubio 'Deeply Concerned' About Possible Donald Trump Cuba Business

By INES DE LA CUETARA

Sep 29, 2016, 11:15 AM ET

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio said Donald Trump will have to “answer some questions” about a Newsweek story reporting that a Trump-owned company allegedly violated the United States' trade embargo with Cuba in the late 1990s.

“This is something they’re going to have to give a response to. I mean, it was a violation of American law, if that’s how it happened,” Rubio said on the ESPN/ABC “Capital Games” podcast.

The report says the Trump-owned company secretly conducted business on the island under Fidel Castro’s communist regime.

“I hope the Trump campaign is going to come forward and answer some questions about this, because if what the article says is true — and I’m not saying that it is, we don’t know with a hundred percent certainty — I’d be deeply concerned about it. I would,” he said.

EXCLUSIVE: NY Attorney General's Probe Of Trump Foundation Appears To Widen

By Tierney Sneed

Published September 29, 2016, 11:07 AM EDT

The New York attorney general's investigation of the Donald J. Trump Foundation appears to have broadened to include new allegations of self-dealing by Trump that surfaced after the probe began, TPM has learned.

The town of Palm Beach, Florida, has provided documents to the New York Attorney General's Office as part of the probe, a lawyer for the town confirmed to TPM on Wednesday. The documents relate to a legal dispute that Trump settled with the town using foundation money. The details of the 2007 Palm Beach case were first reported by the Washington Post last week.

"The New York Attorney General’s Office did contact me in regard to this matter," John Randolph, the Palm Beach town attorney, told TPM Wednesday evening. "I just sent them the documents that I had previously sent to the Washington Post."

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman had announced earlier this month, before the Washington Post's reporting on the Palm Beach case, that his office had opened an investigation into Trump Foundation after it was reported that Trump had used foundation money to buy personal gifts for himself.

Proud Adulterer Blames Woman For Not Stopping Husband's Adultery

Donald Trump was really proud of himself for not talking about former President Bill Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky when he was on the debate stage Monday night.

But it's more than a little awkward he'd allude to an extramarital affair at all.

Trump's attack on Bill Clinton's affair – which Hillary Clinton had nothing to do with–is a bizarre campaign strategy for a man whose own sordid affair captivated the country in 1990. But Trump's calling out Hillary Clinton for her husband's actions is the way Trump has always looked at marriage. Putting the onus on women to stop their husband's affairs is classic Trump. The way he handled his own messy personal life decades ago suggests a disdain for the wronged woman, her husband's philandering a sign of her own shortcomings.

A Vanity Fair story from 1990, gives a lot of insight into how Trump saw the role of his wife and her requirements. The story paints a picture of Trump bullying Ivana for not dressing the right way or spending enough time with the children even as he was reportedly already engaged in an extramarital affair.

The tactics he used in business he now brought home. “Donald began calling Ivana and screaming all the time: ‘You don’t know what you are doing!’ ” one of Ivana’s top assistants told me.................................
