Both groups share an ideology. They loathe anyone not straight, white and male. Every awful thing in this country can be traced back to these old straight white men. Generation after generation. MarginalizIng people, holding people down. Killing people and showing no regard for human life; all the while screaming about how pro life they are.

After January 6th there can be no doubt what the republicans will do should they get power. The filibuster will be gone 5 minutes after they’re sworn in. If you don’t get that, you’re either not paying attention or not willing to admit what you know is true.

We’re in court fighting. I hope we’re organizing madly in the places it matters most right now. In a world where election officials are being threatened, replaced or resigning its an all hands on deck moment.

How can democrats be bipartisan when Mitch McConnell has said in public his 💯 focus is to obstruct the democratic agenda that an overwhelming majority of the country voted for?

Elections have consequences. Democrats were elected to enact the policies they ran on, which included infrastructure and voting rights for EVERYONE, not just whites.

With the lives of their constituents? They don’t care if people can’t feed their children. They don’t care that people can’t afford or do not have access to healthcare. They don’t care that 2 people need 2 or 3 jobs each to raise a family?

Bipartisanship doesn’t mean 100 people in a governing body, it means a plurality of the country. It’s been a nice little experiment, shameful what has been allowed to happen to it.
