The courage of these two sisters is amazing!

As the world was watching the Taliban's return to power in August 2021, two sisters in Kabul were among millions of women in Afghanistan who could directly feel the new regime tightening its grip on them.

They decided they couldn't just stand back and watch women's freedoms being restricted, and started secretly using the power of their voices to resist.

Putting themselves in great danger in a country where musicians can be arrested, they started a singing movement on social media known as the Last Torch.

Cuban says he'd vote for Biden even if 'he was being given last rites'

Mark Cuban, the former owner of the Dallas Mavericks, said he would cast his vote for President Biden over former President Trump in November, even if “he was being given last rites.”

“If they were having his last wake, and it was him versus Trump, and he was being given last rites, I would still vote for Joe Biden,” Cuban told Bloomberg News in a piece released Monday, referring to a Catholic tradition of praying over someone who is close to death.

Florida Keys deputies arrested a pastor Monday who is accused of plying a 15-year-old girl with alcohol and sexually abusing her at his church.

Monte Lavelle Chitty, 62, is being held in Monroe County jail with no bond on charges of sexual battery of a child, lewd and lascivious conduct and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The sheriff’s office said he gave the girl alcohol on Sunday and molested her on a couch inside First Baptist Church, located at 200 62nd Street in the Middle Keys city of Marathon.

Deputies said they found text messages on both the girl’s phone and Chitty’s phone in which “Chitty made reference to having sexual relations with the girl while she was impaired,” said sheriff’s office spokeswoman Becky Herrin.

'Stop lying!': Kari Lake buried by Michael Steele over latest flip-flop

Reacting to an interview with NBC News that she has changed her mind about limits on abortion, former Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele pounced on Kari Lake for flip-flopping as she makes a second bid for political office.

Lake, considered the GOP frontrunner for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), is now saying she has reconsidered her opinion on a nationwide abortion ban — a move that has proven to be a loser for conservatives across the country.

The controversial Lake, who has been dialing back her claims that she was denied the governorship in 2022 because the election was stolen and is currently trying to make amends with what she calls McCain voters in Arizona who contributed to her loss, told NBC she has had another change of mind.

As NBC reported, "Lake said she believes Arizona will settle on a rule that offers access to abortion up to 15 to 24 weeks. She called the state’s current 15-week limit “a good law,” and told NBC News that she does not support Arizona’s controversial territorial rule, a near-total ban on abortion that is under dispute in the courts. As recently as November 2023, Lake responded to a question about her previous support for the territorial ban, saying, 'I haven’t changed.'"

In a hypothetical 2024 general election presidential matchup, President Joe Biden holds a small lead over former President Donald Trump with 49 percent of registered voters supporting Biden and 45 percent supporting Trump, according to a Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pea-ack) University national poll of registered voters released today.

Oh Lord, kids say the darndest things!!!

My little 4 year old patient is a bright, shining little girl. Tonight during her bath she was naming the planets in order, among other adorable and precocious things. I told her how smart she was and asked her if someone opened up her head and poured in a bunch of brains.

She replied, "Nope. Just one little brain."

Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested Saturday for allegedly driving under the influence in La Quinta, California.

"Deputies assigned to the La Quinta Sheriff’s Station conducted a traffic stop in the area of Washington Street and Calle Tampico in La Quinta on a vehicle suspected of being involved in a recent traffic collision," Sergeant Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez told Fox News Digital.

"When deputies contacted the driver, they observed indications of impairment, leading to the driver’s arrest for driving under the influence with priors."
