The Republicans, except for 10, have chosen party over country

All Republicans should be run out of elective office. They have demonstrated that they do not care about anything but power

I fear that Trump and the GOP have caused permanent damage to this country

The large number of GOP members of Congress who supported Trump’s nonsense and supported the March on the Capital bodes I’ll for the country’s future. The plans for armed Marches on State Capitals in support of Trump is scary. The many years of GOP and NRA support for the right to bear arms at all times will lead to more violence. What is our way out of this mess created by the Right wing nut Trumpsters? Do we now understand that elections have consequences?

Re:The phony uproar over Dr Jill Biden's title

Wasn’t Henry Kissinger referred to as Doctor Kissinger and he certainly did not have a medical degree

Tuberville is proof positive of the ignorance of Alabama voters

Tuberville is as dumb as a stump and that mentality apparently appeals to voters in Alabama. Before falling upwards into the race for the Senate, he was a failed football coach and was doing ads for replacement windows in Cincinnati. What an absolute tragedy that he is replacing such a fine and intelligent man like Doug Jones.

President Biden should direct his AG to prosecute anyone who supports secession

Or violent opposition to the government. He shouldn’t hesitate. The Trump thugs have made their intentions clear. They engage in intimidation by brandishing their weapons. At the first sign of organized violence Biden should direct the DOJ, FBI, Secret Service to respond. Also, Trump and his followers in Congress should be put on notice that they would be charged with Sedition if they promote such conduct. And for those who engage in “what aboutism” the anti-war activists didn’t carry heavy weapons and make credible threats of violence against public officials.
We have to stop Trump in his tracks or he and his gang will continue to disrupt our society.

Who should bear the blame for the devastation of the Trump presidency?

Obviously Trump himself and his family,
The Republican Party, principally McConnell and Lindsey Graham,
The right wing media, Faux news and other wingnuts with access to mass communication devices
The religious right who advocate from the pulpit for phony Republican candidates who claim to
support their issues, “it’s all about the judges”
but ultimately blame lies with the 70 million Americans who would allow the destruction of American democracy in favor of a demented cult leader

How can so many continue to support Trump when there are 270,000 dead?

So many dead due to his criminal neglect and 70 million wanted to give him four more years to wreak havoc on our country. Somebody please give me some reason to believe that this country is not doomed.

Who is really making major policy decisions such as withdrawing from the Open Skies treaty?

I have never believed that Trump was intelligent or informed on important issues to be making these decisions. I suspect the evil genius? has been Steven Miller, the little Nazi weasel. The architect of anti-immigrant, white supremacy policies iis the prime suspect. And is anyone concerned with the weakening of our foreign relations, by withdrawing from the Middle East And Afghanistan conflicts creating a vacuum to be filled by Putin’s Russia. Not to mention our strained relationship with our European allies. I hope there will be an investigation of these moves by the Trump administration and prosecutions if my suspicions are proven.
