President Biden negotiated a bipartisan deal on the debt limit being increased. Speaker McCarthy cannot govern his own conference. The Republicans in Congress are incapable of governing.
After the judge's ruling in Texas, it is pretty much over.
The boogey man is here. The people we told you about are here.
No more whataboutism.
If I'm a republican looking to see if Donald still has a stranglehold of the base, the fact they aren't taking to the street in his defense pretty much tells me the support is much softer than Donald thinks it is.
I'd ratchet up the attacks on him. Blood in the water.
I can't imagine this is what Trump wants. A bunch of his supporters are talking about taking the trip down there.
In addition to being his primary residence, it is a country club. I can't imagine the folks that pay 100s of thousands of dollars for membership fees want to enter through a herd of meal team 6 types standing outside the residence brandishing firearms. Outside of optics for a news story, I can't imagine his "base" hanging out on his property would make him very happy since he has so much disdain for them.
I'm hoping they show up there to see how he reacts and his clientele react to having the entrance blocked by middle-aged incels.
ANSING, Mich. (AP) The Republicans who lost their races for Michigans top three statewide offices after promoting falsehoods about the 2020 presidential election are not planning to go quietly.
Two of the candidates who denied President Joe Bidens victory in the state have announced plans to run for the position that leads the state GOP, while the third has said she is considering a challenge for the top post.
That is raising concerns within the party after it suffered a drubbing in Michigan, a perennial political battleground that is poised to play a pivotal role in the 2024 presidential race. Their attempts to gain control of the party apparatus also show how far-right conservatives are trying to maintain their grip on the partys grassroots at a time the GOP nationally is wrestling with its direction after lackluster midterm results.
White nationalist Nick Fuentes reportedly received a warm reception from former President Donald Trump, but it was a very different temperature at a Los Angeles In-N-Out burger where he was caught on camera in a food fight with other patrons.
The footage follows the Fuentes meeting with both Trump and Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. Trump has been attempting to distance himself from Fuentes since the meeting, claiming he did not know the background of Fuentes before the meeting.
Peering over to Fox News to see how they were reacting to Lake's loss; McConnell appears to be the scapegoat for underperforming. McCarthy looks to be in decent shape on the hate machine, but McConnell appears to be on the outs.
At 80 it looks like they might be putting that horse out to pasture in a humiliating way after years of being the absolute worst. Couldn't be happier to see him go out that way if it is the case.
As much as Trump likes to say things with bravado he is a prisoner of his base as much of a leader of it. If he came out strongly for safety measures do you think they would have followed him or just abandoned him.
Kind of the way I look at the whole GOP. Not many leaders over there proposing ideas. Mainly people scared of the mob that put them there.
I've had numerous of my conservative acquaintances tell me they are convinced Covid-19 is going away after the election.
Do these people actually believe COVID-19 is a worldwide conspiracy to make them look bad?
Very hopeful but according to Harrison on MSNBC McConnell just dumped 20 million into the race. That is 20 million he didn't spend somewhere else.
