Avenatti back on TV already.

Hmm. He got criticized a bit by the Judge today over his "publicity tour," but he's back on TV already. I know he decided not to get involved with the Cohen hearing so maybe that's why he's doing it. Still figured he'd take a break.

According to Giuliani, Mueller told Team Trump

that he will stick with DoJ guidelines that Trump cannot be indicted until he's impeached. /sigh

There is no way to get rid of this orange monster plaguing this country.

Is Avenatti causing more damage than good?

Lots of talk now about where Avenatti got this bombshell info and whether it was illegally leaked to him. Does possibly tipping off people in Mueller's investigation make Avenatti's decisions dangerous in the long term?

Propaganda and Normalizing Scandal

How do you combat the growing success of right-wing propaganda, denial of facts, and normalizing scandal and bad behavior?

Trump's poll numbers are still going up. More people still view the country as doing well according to polls that came out today. 86% of Republicans, 38% of Independents, and 9% of Dems approve of Trump.

These numbers are terrifying. How do you combat this insane level of depravity and brainwashing among such a huge amount of the population? I just feel like it's impossible to fight such powerful propaganda.

Short of the entire economy crashing into a massive recession in the near future, I don't see Trump's poll numbers going back down into the low 30s.

Can Congress members be indicted? Rachel segment

Rachel was asking about any precedent for Congress members committing obstruction to help a criminal in the White House. There really isn't any precedent for them being prosecuted/indicted for that behavior.

What are the odds people like Nunes, Meadows, Jordan, Gaetz, etc. will face criminal consequences for their obstruction?

Will Emmet Flood help trump?

I'm pretty baffled an actual qualified lawyer agreed to join his team considering what a disaster his situation and legal team is. Flood is well respected, and considered very good at what he does.

Could he actually put up some obstacles to protect trump from Mueller?

Don McGahn considering resigning now too.

This is really bad. All the lawyers that were holding him back from firing Mueller are quitting.

Rosenstein just implied Trump could be indicted.

At his Newseum interview, he said the crap Republicans are pulling with trying to impeach him is ridiculous, and the DoJ won't be extorted by them.

He also said the DoJ has in the past "opined" that a sitting President can't be indicted, but that one should not make any determination of the current situation based on that.

Doesn't mean Mueller will indict him, but it does seem like Rosenstein is leaving the door open for that possibility.

Adam Schiff on the Mueller Questions

Adam is concerned about the money issues that don't seem to be on the list such as Deutsche Bank, the NRA Russian funding, etc.

Do you think Mueller avoided Trump's red line on his finances or will those likely be questions that he's not given a heads up on but Mueller is still looking at?

My insurance just went up by 25%.

Wow. My insurance always goes up in May. Biggest jump I've seen in the like 10 years I've had this insurance. It's insane how terrible healthcare insurance is in this country. As though I wasn't struggling enough as it was.

/sigh
