Regarding age limits on candidacy

There are lower limits on being able to hold office. Should there be mandatory retirement at a predetermined age? The youth are often saddled with the decisions of a demographic that will not live to see the consequences of their vote. See Brexit exit polls as an example. People with nothing to lose often make poor choices.

Just an observation

The word "disgusting" is a bit overused here.
I see it all the time. Someone even said it was disgusting that I characterized Russia as a failed state run by thugs and mobsters. That has been common knowledge for awhile. It is the reality of the situation. So can we stop dismissing views we don't like as offensive or disgusting and have a discussion like adults. Or maybe just move on without registering our outrage over every little perceived slight.

This taking things out of context in order to be offended is one of the most infuriating things about the right wing and when we do it we just feed into the myth of political correctness.

All dems are not the same. That is why it is a great party. I have a flag in my yard and I am usually armed. The reps dont own the flag or the 2nd amendment. But you wouldn't know it here at times.

I have also been known to jump up and give a fool a much deserved beat down in the past. I believe that as long as there are people who want to harm my country that we have to be ready to fight. I believe I have a duty to defend myself and my family .
I believe Thomas Jefferson was the true father of this country, warts and all. I believe all religions are equally valid.

I believe I tend to digress when i post early in the morning. So to recap:
If you are offended by facts and different opinions you are on the wrong team. The reps would be glad to have you. You have every right to disdain lies and personal attacks.

And come on people. The Russians suck. To paraphrase Wayne's World, Russia has no friends. If Russia was an ice cream flavor, they would be praline and dick.

I can't believe that I am arguing with reps about whether the frigging Russians are our friends. Russia is not even a real country anymore. Just a bunch of thugs , mobsters, and thieves stealing the wealth of a dead empire and sowing chaos around the world.
I do not think any American citizens should be allowed to do business with them, and all political contact should be transparent and bent toward weakening and discrediting them.
We spent 50 years and trillions of dollars breaking them economically and now we have an administration that would not only take the boot off thier necks but actively help them reemerge on the world stage.

Traitors all. The time is coming to stretch some necks here at home and bitch slap a post communist dystopia back into the dust of history.

It looks like it is leaning but my yard is steep. I am actually standing sideways on the grade. I made to pole myself and rigged some garage door rollers as pulleys. In concreted it in and encircled the base with red brick edging, back filled it with soil and planted lilys around it. Added a solar spotlight the came into drink a few beers.
