Dozen large eggs. $3.99. (down from $5.99)
1 gal 2% milk. 2.79. (no change)
Iceberg lettuce. 2.89. (up from 2.79)
1 gal unleaded gas. 3.14. (up from 3.09)

I volunteer as a receptionist/greeter at a local food shelf two days per week.

On Monday, we are locking all the doors and no one can get in the building without being buzzed in (I do the buzzing at the busiest door). We are adopting this policy/process so ICE goons can’t walk in and haul hungry people away. Forty percent of our participants, who all need free food, are immigrants.
