So many NFL players have long hair

flowing out the back of their helmets.....

Is it a penalty if someone on the opposing team grabs those locks?

I hope the first bridge that gets upgraded as a result of the BIF

is the one that connects Louisville, KY, and Indiana over the Ohio River, with President Biden standing there to cut the ribbon and calling out Mitch McConnell....

I hope the first water system that gets upgraded as a result of the BIF is Flint, MI.

They should have a ceremony/ribbon cutting to begin that project in Flint.

Just now enjoying one of the best brownies I've ever eaten.

I bought it at my local "health food" store, which makes takeout items they call "Grab and Go." It's a zucchini brownie with chocolate chips sprinkled on top. So moist and utterly delicious!

I'm going to try to find a recipe online, as I doubt they would share their recipe (but I may ask them).

Simple list of ingredients, I just need to know the measurements and sequence of assembling them:

zucchini, sunflower oil, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, vanilla, sugar, all purpose flour, chocolate chips

And, I'm of the opinion that the brand of ingredients will make a difference in the flavor of the end product; in this case, most especially, the cocoa powder and chocolate chips. Probably brands they carry in the store....

What's with all the camo gear on the sidelines among all the coaching personnel at NFL games?

I've been noticing this for the last couple of weeks. (Maybe it's gone on longer....)

Narrowly escaped getting scammed on FB Marketplace today.

Was going to buy a vehicle, but the seller stopped answering my emails under the excuse that eBay was in control of the merchandise and all questions should go to them. When I got the communication from eBay, I called their "support" line, but the guy seemed angry and agitated that I had questions. eBay was requiring that I pay with eBay gift cards. When I contacted the merchant who sells eBay gift cards in my area, she said there had been a lot of scams using eBay gift cards lately. The clincher was that I couldn't get my questions answered, either by the seller or by eBay (The same number that I called yesterday was busy continuously today); and the main question was that there was no mention of the title in the document they sent me. They wanted their money, then they would deliver, give me time to evaluate it and accept or not; but still no mention of when I would get the title. I finally came to the conclusion they were trying to get me to send the money as eBay gift cards and then would not deliver either the vehicle or the title.

In short, it was one of those deals that was "too good to be true." The price was unbelievably low, supposedly because her husband had recently died, and she just wanted to get rid of it (an RV), and she would pay for all the shipping and return (if I didn't approve of it after inspection). The deal was supposed to expire after 24 hours if I didn't contact them with the eBay gift card numbers that confirmed my payment.

I let the 24 hours expire.....I'm so glad I just "walked away;" and thanks to that merchant who warned me about eBay gift card scams.....

I think the whole thing with Manchin and Sinema

is that they, as *Senators* cannot and will not be seen to be negotiating their votes with the House (much less the progressives in the House), which of course, is the "lower" house of Congress. I think Manchin and Sinema have, at last, told President Biden in confidence where their votes are and that he has agreed to not reveal what they have told him because he, having been a Senator, understands the position they are in. But he can and did say this morning, "Today I'm pleased to announce after months of tough and thoughtful negotiations I think we have a historic — I know we have a historic economic framework."

He has a deal for the Senators' votes, but just can't tell the House. That's part of the deal....

This is the reason he is asking the progressives to stay with it, why Nancy has agreed to go forward with the vote, and why she has told the House Dems "take the President at his word he will get the larger bill through." (I believe he has given Nancy enough of an indication for her to "know"....)

Paul Gosar's health....

I heard a passing comment on Rachel's show a few weeks ago that there is some talk that Paul Gosar is having health problems. From the video that was just played on her show of him speaking during a Congressional hearing, it looks to me that he possibly has Parkinson's. The way he moves is very much like Michael J. Fox in his earlier days of having Parkinson's.

I'm not a medical expert of any kind; it's just a layman's observation.

Trump's new Super PAC is named Make America Great Again, Again.

Apparently, as usual, he failed the first time....
