Will the October Surprise

be a miraculous recovery, meant to show that God is on Trump's side? I mean, who to better endorse your campaign in the waning days of an election?

Welcome to Florida, A vacation to die for...

Our governor has essentially declared that the Covid-19 pandemic is over. The rednecks in my area are rejoicing over the end of restrictions and will be celebrating in style. I guess the next thing the governor will do is close the hospitals so we will have no new hospitalizations from the pandemic. I have to buy groceries this morning, and since the governor has overridden the local mask ordinance it will be interesting to see how the customers and employees will be handling it. I live in a food desert and my options are limited without driving 40 miles for food.

What DeSantis has done is to further restrict the ability of people with preexisting conditions to be able to carry out their daily business without the risk of infection. All to prove the governor's political loyalty to the President. Thanks Ron.....

As I have not yet grown bored with protecting my life, I will continue to wear a mask, but because of the Governor's new policy, I expect to be treated poorly in public for doing so. I intend to fight back; I am tired of the crazy political shit.

I have never adorned my car with bumper stickers allying myself with political figures or policies, or supporting sports teams, but If I could find a sticker that said, "MY GOVERNOR IS AN IDIOT" I would proudly place it on my car.

Trump, assuming he will win this year, suggests that he deserves the chance at a third term.

I guess that would mean that Obama could run against him.

Defining moments of Presidential administrations.

* Georgie Bush had two defining events: 911 and invasion of Iraq over weapons of mass destruction.

* The defining event of the Trump administration will be the dismal failure to contain a pandemic, killing hundreds of thousands of Americans , and in the process wrecking the economy. .

* The Defining even of the Obama administration was assuring that all people could get health care.

I understand how Republicans hate us so much.

I want a new Tee shirt

This Sucka is votin for Biden!

Or maybe Vietnam era "loser" for Biden.

Or for after the election: Who's the loser now, sucker?

It the Reichstag in Portland?

Is Trump is trying to sow the wind in order to reap the whirlwind. Trump has been encouraging gun toting thugs to "protect" property at protests. A mass shooting at a protest is likely, and the reaction that would follow on a National scale, could end up being his Reichstag Fire.

Right winger gun forum folks going apeshit over Pelosi giving the Floyd family a flag.

The are ready to string her up over giving a family of a murder victim a flag. The aren't pissed about 25 million unemployed, not pissed over 5,000,000 cases and 170,000 covid deaths. They aren't pissed that Trump is destroying the structure of our government, and replacing it with a fascist regime, but just let Nancy give away a flag and all hell breaks loose.

******* morons.

The commercials have become so prolific on the site

that they are overwhelming the ability of my DSL to handle the traffic. They are now popping up over text to prevent even the reading of posts. All of this started in the last few days. Any suggestions? I don't mind donating to the site, but I was even unable to do that because everything was slowed down so much. It took several attempts of rebooting and getting on in order to post this thread before the band width was overwhelmed.

Edit: I am not having similar problems on any other sites...

Florida governor pushes to have a full college football season

Two hours after the Big 10 and the PAC suspend season, and few hours after Florida set a new single day death record. What could possibly go wrong?
