Regarding the use of chemical agents in the guise of disinfecting ICE detainees in US prison camps:

I posted the following to the FB page of each member of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission of the US Congress

As a member of the Human Rights Commission of the United States Congress you should be aware of reports that ICE employees in the Private for Profit Concentration Camps are spraying a disinfectant chemical agent on detainees that the manufacturer warns is dangerous.

Detainees report their cramped living areas are being sprayed up to 50 times a day for what the guards say is to prevent Covid19. The detainees are suffering pain, bleeding and serious skin problems.

This egregious and illegal act compounds the suffering of immigrants and asylum seekers, who have already endured great suffering when their children, including breast feeding infants were forcibly taken from them and locked in cages.
To allow this illegal and inhumane treatment is another stain on the history of America and must end.

I understand that the Human Rights Commission is dedicated to the fair treatment of human beings around the globe.
Now, I must ask that you do the same for the people who are suffering at the hands of government here in the United States.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights prominently displayed on the Commissions webpage must mean something here at home if it is to mean anything to the rest of the world: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.

How can you help?
1.Contact the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission of the United States Congress at the link below.
Please urge them to investigate the use of chemical agents on detainees by a US contracted Private for Profit Prison Corporation.
This is on their website:
https://humanrightscommission.house.gov/

2. If any members of the Human Rights Commission are elected officials from your state, reaching out to them as one of their constituents can have even more impact.

3. Write to the Editors of your local newspaper to make others aware.

These last couple of weeks have been awful. First a farm in Iowa took advantage of the new Ag-Gag law and steamed thousands of live pigs to death and gassed the babies. The person who reported it was arrested. Next is the toxic poisoning of asylum seekers in the Concentration camps. If we allow it to go on people will become desensitized just like much of America has been desensitized to the cruelty of the current administration.

In my Red state there's something interesting and encouraging this year compared to 2016

During the 2016 campaign my neighborhood was full of Trump signs. That entire year, every day on my walk I would feel like such a loner. There was one and only one house that bravely displayed a Hillary for President sign during my daily 5 mile walk. I took a couple of different routes for variety but each time it was all the same as far as Trump signs go.

This year I have seen ONE Trump sign. I suppose that could change as the election gets closer but all of 2016 there were those signs everywhere. Either the voters are ashamed to say they align with Trump or (what I keep hoping) they're changing their minds and just don't want anyone to know they're voting Biden.

Bolton book claims Trump committed other 'Ukraine-like transgressions'- Sure, Now he tells us

What is this? Bolton could have said something a long time ago. Instead, he waits until his book release and we have to buy the book to find out what other Trump transgressions have been committed ?

Am I reading this wrong? Because it sure looks like he wasn't willing to say a word to save this Democratic Republic from the scourge of Trump until he could make a profit from it and after it's too late. Am I missing something?

"New York publishers Simon & Schuster boasted: “This is the book Donald Trump doesn’t want you to read.”"

You know what, Simon & Schuster? I don't live my life based on what Donald Drumpf does or doesn't want me to do and I don't give a fuck anymore about what Bolton has to say.
