Question about policies

My boss is one of those die hard, embrace every word, every gesture, and every fart in the wind outta trumps mouth kinda guys. Today he almost made me upheave my lunch by telling me that trump is one of the most caring guys around.

We argue all the time about politics, and it always ends at the same point, with me telling him the right has no interest in equality amongst the populous. To which he always responds with, “show me one conservative policy that has harmed small businesses!” There’s that delusion that captain goblin cares about him like he does the billionaires, because they all think they’re gonna get there, and allegedly, he knows how.

I always ask him though, and I haven’t found an answer myself, one question. Show me one conservative policy that benefits the American working class. Where’s the republican support for workers rights? Are they the reason that most of the Middle East has better laws than we do about paternity and vacation?

I, until Donald trump became president had no reason to look these things up. I was shocked to find that better more inclusive rights could be found in a lot of Africa, and even Afghanistan. Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, turkey, most of the world. Per those countries government websites, they have better written, and more productive workers rights than we do. The only way we stand out is giving women all of our all-pretensive, half-baked rights as well. Though because enforcement is pretty questionable, we can’t be to sure that even that is being carried out the way we say it is.

Can anybody here point me in the right direction? Is there a conservative policy that benefits workers, or their ability to thrive in our country?

Anybody remember when trump ran for president in 2000?

If you watch the whole thing, about 11 minutes in watch him ignore all the black people in the crowd when he was shaking hands.

Anybody watch trumps town hall tonight?

How many people watched trumps town hall tonight? Did anybody else notice that he all but admitted he’s more worried about antifa than pedophiles? When asked about qanon, he said he doesn’t know anything about qanon, but he does know how bad antifa is, then proceeded to ramble on about antifa. Now, I’m no qanon whack job, however, I feel like such allegations coming about, as the conspiracy group has portrayed, Americans would deserve an investigation into the source.

If anybody came to me and told me that they knew of children being hurt, I would not turn to the camera and blow that off to replace it with a rant about how much I hate antifa. Such allegations deserve an explanation, whether the source comes up false or not. He said he very strongly opposes pedophilia, but he has no idea what qanon is all about. That tells me that either he knows it is all a sham, and is purposely allowing fake news to be spread in his benefit, or he has no interest in attempting to defend children.

Does anyone else share that view with me, or am I looking too much into it?

Trump supporters are all their own kind of delusional.

A coworker just told me that if Biden wins, we’re going to have a new holiday celebrating hitler.

I'm getting a vibe from trump and supporters that I don't like.

They talk about law and order, while the man constantly breaks laws, leaving “order” laying dead in the wake of his path. They throw around the term court packing, while trump packs the courts, dhs, postal service, and many other agencies with his crooked friends. They seem to be ok with people being beaten, shot, run over by cars, stabbed, you name it, if it’s in the name of the right. They don’t give a rats ass about people working full time jobs, having to borrow money to buy diapers, food, rent, etc. They don’t care about hundreds of thousands of Americans dying for the rich man. They don’t care about real family’s, running away from real fucked up countries, in hopes of staying alive.

The right seems to have taken on a new personal goal. Beat down anybody who would defend themselves against right wing thugs, and poverish oppression, while calling them criminals for defending themselves. They’ll work as hard as they can, only to work against anything that promotes humanity. The only thing they seem to care about is that damn stock market, even if they’re too poor to partake in it, and protecting the damn billionaires. How long can they beat on and hate everybody who just wants to live a fair life? Do these people even know why they hate the left? I really wonder.

Are they really trying to start a war? What do you guys think about what they’re going to do after their unsuccessful attempt to rig the election? I would love to hear your thoughts. Me personally, I’m worried about their reaction. They’re already trying to kidnap politicians, and beating up protesters in the streets, and they haven’t lost yet. I would love for someone to call me paranoid, and this all be a bad dream.

New to democratic underground

What feels like quite some time ago, I was a conservative trump supporter. I didn’t vote for him, and I was never really opposed to Obama. I simply thought, back when the economy was on the up, that he was able to continue the economic growth, which very obviously started during Obama’s administration. The difference now, I never have been a fan of Fox News. I simply held more conservative values. However, being enlightened by trump coming out as a hateful bigot, and his supporters even more so, I soon realized that trump and his supporters have no concern for anybody’s well being. Not even their own. They are willing to throw their own bodies into a fireplace if they think it will benefit the billionaires. I have to deal with trump supporters all day of every day. I work on a farm. When pressed about wealth inequality, and the billionaires taking advantage of Americans, they respond with, “what would we do without them?” I am appalled at that thought. What would we do without a blind support for unregulated capitalism? Where would we be if Corporate America were held accountable for their affect on society, and the world? How would other nations view us, and how powerful could we be, if the whole nation simply worked together, for the good and well being of all of our citizens, and spread that idea across the world? I find myself now a firm supporter of Biden, because he cares about everybody. He wants what I want. It’s just been fascinating watching the right become the biggest snowflakes of the country, especially since they loved to throw it out at everybody else. All the Karen’s for trump; treasonous, court packing republicans; conspiracy theory driving, racist extremists have one thing in common, I believe. My roommate and I have been calling them smooth-brains. See, the koala bear has a strictly poisonous diet. They’ll only eat a certain type of eucalyptus leave, which is highly toxic, and provides the animal with almost no energy, causing them to sleep 20 hours a day. They have plenty of other options, but fighting evolution to be able to eat that one leaf seems to be the idea. We believe it may be a trait of having a smooth, wrinkle free brain, as the koala bears do. I’m not sure why they have pledged their souls to the filthy rich, perhaps it’s because they think they will achieve the same thing.
