Everyone who chooses the path of evil destroys himself. Who sends columns of troops to destroy the lives of another country and cannot stop them from fleeing and betraying when life resists. Who terrorizes with missiles, and when they are shot down, humiliates himself to receive Shahed drones. Who despises people and throws hundreds of thousands into the war, in order to eventually barricade himself in the Moscow region from those whom he himself armed. For a long time, Russia used propaganda to mask its weakness and the stupidity of its government. And now there is so much chaos that no lie can hide it. And all this is one person, who again and again scares by the year 1917, although he is able to result in nothing else but this.
Russia's weakness is obvious. Full-scale weakness. And the longer Russia keeps its troops and mercenaries on our land, the more chaos, pain, and problems it will have for itself later. It is also obvious. Ukraine is able to protect Europe from the spread of Russian evil and chaos.

We keep our resilience, unity and strength.
All our commanders, all our soldiers know what to do.

OK we are about 12 hours into what is clearly an attempt by Yevgeny Prigozhin to topple the leadership of the Russian military (and very possibly the Russian government). This all started with an announcement by Prigozhin yesterday that the Russian army had launched a missile attack on a Wagner base—and it has snowballed exponentially since then. You can actually hear some of Prigozhin’s announcement here.

At first this attempt by Prigozhin seemed almost impulsive and bound to fail (and it still might—and probably should if the Russian army stays loyal to Putin). However, what does seem to be the case now is that this is a well-planned operation that has been a while in the making and has a greater chance of success that certainly I would have thought yesterday. If you look at the timing, the placement of Russian forces, the areas that Prigozhin has seized, and the fact that Putin was clearly caught of guard, you can see this. If you dont mind, I thought I would talk a little bit about why I think it is well organized and could succeed.

Timing: This is a perfect time for Prigozhin to take this risk. Almost all of Wagner has pulled out of Ukraine over the last month and was back in Russia itself (or overseas). This means that he has a ready supply of rested forces (some with real combat experience). Ive seen regular estimates of 20k to 30k Wagner personnel who are now under his authority, and they seem (despite all of his constant complaints) to be pretty well equipped. I mean, they have already shot down at least one Russian army helicopter and one aircraft. This does not happen by accident.

Statement by Preghozin in response to putin's speech

New statement by Prigozhin:

"The President was deeply mistaken about the betrayal of the homeland; we are patriots of our homeland. We fought and continue to fight. All the fighters of Wagner PMC. No one is going to surrender at the request of the President, Federal Security Service or anyone else, because we do not want the country to continue to live in corruption, deceit and bureaucracy. When we were fighting in Africa, we were told we needed Africa and after that it was abandoned because they stole all the money that was supposed to help. When we were told we were at war with Ukraine, we went and fought. But it turned out that ammunition, armaments, the money that was intended for this purpose was also stolen. And the officials are sitting, saving them for themselves, just for the case that has happened today, when someone goes to Moscow. Now they are not saving anything. They are hitting with planes and helicopters the columns where peaceful people are moving. They are hitting, because they are missing the targets, they are hitting wherever they can. We are patriots. And those who oppose us today are those who have gathered around the scum".
