...laity-based movements, in particular Opus Dei and the Napa Institute, which are completely hell-bent on getting another reactionary Pope. The far right of the Church is really throwing its weight around since the death of Pope Francis. I have watched a bit of EWTN (radtrad Catholic network) lately, and it's been nearly constant editorializing and sniping from them. As usual, it's all about "tradition" and "doctrine", 24 hours a day.
