I am so completely fed up with the negativity here on this site. There are some here who bring the same negative message to every single thread it seems (and then ironically complain about the dems message).

Do not get me wrong I am not talking about being critical about specific democrats or specific actions. I am talking about the constant “nothing is going to happen”, “we are going to lose x in the midterms”, etc, etc, etc. If we are the hardcore democrats ad the ones that really pull for our party and do all the things then we really shouldn’t be subjected to and reading this stuff here. This place is out gathering point, our sacred ground, our place of information and ideas sharing and I feel as though some are salting the soil here.

I don’t know. I have been around here lurking and reading much longer than my profile indicates and I remember a time when this type of stuff was put down, and called out. If spreading no faith in our party becomes acceptable here then we need to do something about it.

I have to say I am getting really tired of hearing that this invasion is our fault. Maybe that is the point. To beat is down. I don’t know. But listening to “progressive” shows on the radio here I hear more and more about how the United States needs to take responsibility for this invasion. Amy Goodman’s show today is non-atop constant Biden and U.S. bashing.

Then on the right you have the expected Biden bashing but also the fawning over Putin and his brilliance.

I am not saying that our foreign policy isn’t without fault but I am fes up with hearing how every bad thing that happens in the world is our fault.

She is on drive time on our progressive radio channel here in Minneapolis. Just about every day she brings on people who want to bash democrats. Today it is the corporatist Democrats.

It is all about how Biden could issue executive orders to secure voting rights and that he is complicit in keeping black people from voting.

I love Thom’s show but he invites this guest Julio on now and again and the guy is just a blathering idiot that spews a bunch of nonsense. This week he was on blathering about inflation and why Biden is failing on the economy.

There is a lot of talk about us getting beat because of this and that. For school closures, for CRT (or really just teaching history in general), trying to gove medical coverage to people, trying to lessen peoples educational debt, etc on and on and on….


If that is what is beating us for doing it then so be it. I would rather we lose for doing and trying to do the right things that to not do them in order to stay or gain power. At some point it will be on the people in this country to finally wake up. I am exhausted with Americans who fight for the people who do not have their best interests at heart.
