Maduro -- One hell of a distraction.

Epstein files, recent release of Jack Smith deposition.

The illiterate, illogical, ignorant imbecile continues on his crusade of self-preservation. At what cost? I'd say most of everything that I, as an American, hold dear. Rule of law, institutions, civil rights. The list goes on ad infinitum.

And the republican party is destroying all of it. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around what has happened to this country in the last year. On account of this guy? How far we have fallen.

I'm not sure if our country will survive the next three years.

Just finished watching the entire Jack Smith deposition.

He's a fuckin' rock star. The republicans had no valid arguments to counter the facts. None.
Clear, concise, unvarnished testimony. A sight to behold. A master class in the art of bitch-slapping.

This man is a true patriot.

Just finished voting.

The machines had an option to review your selections and then print them on the ballot that you are given to insert into the machine. Once they are printed, the ballot is available to view through a window. If you are satisfied with your selections, you then choose the "vote" option. The printed ballot is then retained by the machine. This is the first time in my 47 years of voting that I've seen this type of an electronic machine that includes a printed version of the ballot that you can actually see before you cast your vote. I didn't get the name brand of the voting booth machine, but this seems like a fail-safe feature that would help in the event of any MAGA challenges that arise.

Maybe it's just me, but I was impressed.

As Commander-in-Chief, can the traitor be court-martialed?

After all, what he did definitely fomented insurrection.

What would we be talking about now...

if 20,000 knuckledraggers showed up in DC yesterday instead of the few thousand that did? I shudder at the thought.

We won the fight for the "Soul of the Nation".

OK. Now what? Joe says he doesn't want his presidency "consumed" by investigations of the trump administration. I understand the concern and I feel the DOJ will do it's job without interference from the WH. However, in order to cleanse and restore this nations "soul", the message must be played over and over again and again that WE will not sit idly by while this Nation is raped by the likes of the current administration; scumbags who purport to be real "muricans". They sicken me to no end. These slimy motherfuckers must be held accountable and pay for the damage they've done to this country. No quarter. If it take four years, so be it. A Biden presidency that will leave a legacy of true "Law and Order" may not be palatable right now, but historically it may well be remembered as the one that actually does save our democracy.

Railroads granted unprecedented FRA safety regulation waivers.

It's astonishing. These MFer's will stop at nothing. Years of regulatory provisions that keep workers and the public safe just got thrown in the bathtub to be drowned with the rest of "big government". Under the guise of Covid-19 prevention, the FRA (which BTW is being run by a former railroad CEO) gives the railroads carte-blanche to do whatever the fuck they want regarding required track and locomotive inspections, required brake tests, operational testing, and on and on and on.

The RR's are saying that they needed this due to predictable manpower shortages. That's bullshit - they have been furloughing people for the last 10 months as a result of PSR (Precision Scheduled Railroading), which was just another scheme to inflate the price of their stock.

There is literally too much to list here. Disgusting and Dangerous. Here is the link.

How do I copy & post a pic, video or pdf link into a message on DU?

I'm relatively new to message boards and I've tried a simple copy/paste. Didn't work. Hope some of the guru's here can help me out. Thanking y'all in advance.
