I was just listening to Trumps ambassador to Canada relaying his Glorious Leader's lies and warnings.
Among the things he referenced was the intent of the US of NA to deploy a "Golden Dome" to protect themselves from attack, at a cost of $175 Billion. and he was insisting that Canada pay its fair share of this cost.
Well first and foremost we can be sure the price is a lie - because as Mark Twain warned "when a yankee trader calls it a good deal - you've just been taken". Multiply the estimate by 10 and it might be closer to reality.
Secondly it should be remembered that the "bad guys" will not be aiming at innocuous Canada but will have the US of NA in their sights because that's who is currently pissing off the whole world. Therefore Canada should make a payment of $0 as their fair share. In fact the US should pay Canada for the inevitable attack on NA their provocative actions promote and the collateral damage that will ensue..
Just something to keep in mind.
Is this Despicable Don promise already set up or does he need to change other laws?

Observing the United States of North America today would it be accurate to describe the country as one embroiled in a civil war that has not yet reached armed conflict?
Canada really has been left with only ONE OPTION.
The country south of the 49th parallel is at war.
The people there have unwittingly handed power to the super-rich and their representatives have decided to eliminate representative government and replace it with a new form of monarchy.
Canada is not now and never has been since the 1920s capable of armed conflict against the most powerful Rogue Nation on earth.
The only current option for Canada is neutrality and withdrawal from ALL agreements with the US since it is patently obvious that the other party has absolutely no intention of honouring the agreements it entered into with other nations..
Canada is a victim of this foreign war but does not dare engage in it.
The only real option Canada and other former allies of the US is isolationism. Sell them nothing. Give them nothing. Do not negotiate with them since they can no longer be trusted.
The outlaw currently directing the US is acting very much like an abusive spouse and it does not matter what his "adversaries" attempt to do in order to appease him it will never be enough because he will continue to advance the goals and maintain his abuse. A civil war is seldom declared.

There has been a great deal of discussion since November 5 from people wondering how The King managed to be crowned and rules with the cruelty of a Caligula.
Most discussion covers the usual disagreements concerning elections - policies, debate, press coverage, etc etc.
If this had been a classic election that discussion would have been acceptable. However this was not a classic election. It was the first "Post Coup"election run fully onder Post Coup rules completely and US Citizens had better get used to it because future "elections" will follow the same formula. The die has been cast.
The best analysis I have seen of the reason for the current situation was an analysis in the British Guarian Newspaper.

Does he really think that any self respecting Canadian would want to leave Canada to live in Trumps lawless gunslinger country? A rogue country that has been at war with some other nation since the 1930s Where people are killed simply because a neighbour has a fit of pique. Where the supreme court has been captured and renders solely political verdicts based frequently on unproven religious nonsense. Where the court system had always been designed to be based on actors presenting show plays instead of a legal system with rules of action and evidence. Where Women are, and always have been second class citizens and a chattel of people with penises.
In short a country where outlaws have been heroes and violence has been normalised from the time it was founded. In fact a small part of the earths population and less than 1/2 of the North American continent despite claiming it IS 'AMERICA".
A NATION THAT NEVER HAS BEEN, AND I HAVE NO DOUBT NEVER WILL BE CIVILISED.
POTUS Must Use his Superpowers
Before they are taken away.
He must declare the SCOTUS illegitimate and rogue for the manner in which some of its members have ignored their constitutional oath,
He must also use emergency powers to balance the court so that contrived rulings are the result of proper legal grounding.
He could also use executive orders to reverse the Roe destruction since it is based on other than US law and ignores precedent.
He might be advised on the illegitimate use of unsanctioned power by Opus Dei in election interference and perhaps pass laws to prevent a repeat and to nullify current unconstitutional law founded on religious arguments as unconstitutional.

he Supreme Court is relentlessly funding and empowering Christian fascism. It not only overturned Roe v. Wade, ending a constitutional right to an abortion, but ruled on June 21 that Maine may not exclude religious schools from a state tuition program. It has ruled that a Montana state program to support private schools must include religious schools. It ruled that a 40-foot cross could remain on state property in suburban Maryland. It upheld the Trump administration regulation allowing employers to deny birth control coverage to female employees on religious grounds. It ruled that employment discrimination laws do not apply to teachers at religious schools. It ruled that a Catholic social services agency in Philadelphia could ignore city rules and refuse to screen same-sex couples applying to take in foster children. It neutered the 1965 Voting Rights Act. It watered down laws allowing workers to combat sexual and racial harassment in court. It reversed century-old campaign finance restrictions to permit corporations, private groups and oligarchs to spend unlimited funds on elections, a system of legalized bribery, in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission. It permitted states to opt out of the Affordable Care Act’s Medicaid expansion. It undercut the ability of public sector unions to raise funds. It forced workers with legal grievances to submit their complaints to privatized arbitration boards. It ruled that states cannot restrict the right to carry concealed weapons in public.
