Ever since Trump lost in 2020 and launched the insurrection, followed by 4 years of election denial, we knew he would try again in 2024. For Jan. 6 and other crimes, he could have been arrested and charged with federal crimes by Merrick Garland’s DOJ. In fact, John Dean (Nixon’s lawyer of Watergate fame) said that’s exactly what should have happened. We’ve seen this train barreling down the tracks for 4 years. I blame Garland for allowing this to happen. WHY didn’t the DOJ charge Trump back in 2021 and diligently pursue prosecution? I haven’t heard anyone address this obvious question.

One of my Facebook contacts posted an "Impeach Biden" meme that showed up in my feed. I replied...
"Insurrectionists first."
He responded, "Who has been charged with insurrection?"
I replied: "Exactly."
